it looks like the nest pic may be causing a bit of a problem and you may have to click the link to see it. hoping that won't be the case. 🤔
i hope you see the link to the bird nest picture squeezed between the two pictures above that did show up.

and in reference to my treacle brittle mention above (and since we've spoken about it recently) and because i'd love to see you stop by the café too... @Acy good morning!!!

let these fingers loosen up a bit more and i'll try to tag some more 😖

Thanks so much for thinking of me (tagging) @Kiwi2016 I appreciate it a lot! :) I thought of a few more people to tag, not sure if a more recent cafe has been posted, if it has I didn't see any tags for it but will check after. Not sure if these people still post here much or not but they are who I thought of anyway lol :p Hope you and everyone else are well :)

Some things I enjoy doing are:
Playing games, reading, writing (mostly poems), helping people, having deep/intense conversations about life, watching shows and movies, looking at art, eating yummy food, spending time with animals, shopping and organizing.
So good to see you come in.. such an impressive list---. I admire all who have the ability to write especially poetry to capture the essence of something in so few words eloquently has always fascinated me....
Wishing you a good day and thanks for tagging :)

thanks much for the tag @JMG
and thanks much also for opening a café @Kiwi2016
seems like the café has been having more dark days than light these days. so i'll just keep wishing it was different and maybe that will inspire me to open one again myself.
now... yorkshire pudding: as taught by my mother is had with roast beef. its really delishious. and some of my earliest childhood memories are of enjoying it as an essential part of a big beefy dinner. I'm sure there are many on this site who are much closer geographically to yorkshire pudding's origin and can tell me if i'm right or correct me if i'm wrong. i have a feeling that @Sunspots may have some knowledge about this, right?

(as for childhood memories, these days i'm not sure how the whole memory thing works because i've unearthed these buried caskets in the dark reaches that explicity say do not open - ever! but they were placed so close to the things that i love like treacle brittle and yorkshire pudding ((my russian mother must have somehow been drawn to british cooking/foods (((yes candy is food))) )) so i have to be prepared for who knows what).

sorry, now i'll try to stick to the happier. @JMG you always decorate wherever you are so nicely and today is no exception. thanks for that too!!! 🌞

and let me not forget since you mentioned @Kiwi2016 a definite 👍👍👍 to the yorkshire pudding😁.

ok must add this:

these are a few scenes from a virtual walk with @FlamingoWrangler and anyone else who came along the other day. this track scene is my favorite in the park and there still was no autumn colors then. i'll try to pass by again today and i'm sure what's there will be worth another pic. 😁

it looks like the nest pic may be causing a bit of a problem and you may have to click the link to see it. hoping that won't be the case. 🤔

now for a cup of joe and something to go along with it. i'll be sitting by the window so anyone who wants to join me, please stop by.

So what do you enjoy doing and/or what would you like to try doing?
During fall, I used to enjoy hiking around the Pacific wilderness coast and logging lands -- remote areas left alone for decades and seldom visited by anyone (except hunters during the various game seasons).

Below is a picture from long ago, along with a puzzle -- can you read what the top says? The bottom is clearly "Unmaintained Trail," but I'd be curious if anyone can make out the top. I almost forgot myself and could hardly figure it out, but it came back to me 😂

[Anyhow, this picture is on the border between those logging territories and a thin strip of national park towards the Pacific coast.]

You're welcome to those who thanked for the tags (@Astrid78 and @extraterrestrialone ) happy to see some others who I tagged came here after being tagged so thanks to them too for coming & posting here anyway :) No prob. for helping with the tags @Kiwi2016 glad to help. Thanks so much to extraterrestrialone for your kind compliment about me decorating nicely where I go, that was a really nice thing to say to me & it really means a lot to me! :)

Very cool...who are the artists if you don't mind my asking?
All those pix I found on pinterest which is an awesome site full of pics of anything and everything you could ever imagine in this world. All of them can be found in my "Art" board on there, but since there's over 7000 pics in there it would be a bit overwhelming to comb through all the pics trying to find them lol. Most of them don't seem to list the original artist sorry but maybe that info can be found through these links:

1. Curl flowers - https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/190699365465482503/
2. More curl flowers - https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/190699365465498110/
3. Leaves and trees - https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/190699365465498120/
4. Girl with horse (Tracie Grimwood) - https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/190699365465498158/
5. Blue and white striped cat with plant (Terry Runyan) - https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/Ab2LJPSLShCgDyHI8Ju25xbQXj9BlkiSnDwHYtikGC3vhLudei1iSQo/

That last artist ^ (Terry Runyan) I have a calendar of her art for next year (I know I'm so old school to use paper wall calendars lol I love them though will probably never stop using them) here's a pic of the front & back of it (if you're curious to see it that is lol) ;)

I know I have always kept wall calendars around and prefer the large ones easier to write in appointments. I also still use phone books, but living in an area of all small towns the book is more of a pamphlet.

That is the phone book for every town within a 15 mile radius of where I live. LOL
