Well, today I spent time with my nephew, which is a gift in and of itself. I bought him some cool things, including kinetic sand (why didn't they have stuff like that when I was a kid?) and bought some goodies for Christmas, including alcohol and chocolate. Now it's time for some festive pics I like!

Hi @may71 ... the lighting is actually their Pageant of Sstarlight and Christmas eve is celebrated with giving gifts and spreading happiness. A good short description is at http://www.tanutech.com/japan/jxmas.html. Being there for the turn on ceremony as we were doing an exhibit at their museum was simply magical.
