Whamageddon Table
For those who have played/intend to play
1) Have you ever played Whamageddon?
I had to resort to YouTube to see what the commotion was about. Fortunately I have a bucket nearby to catch vomit and I have some good mouthwash. I am not playing, I have to do my grocery shopping somewhere.
Christmas Table
Now that the festive season is ACTUALLY here (and not stupidly early)
1) How many presents are you buying this year?
I am not buying any but I am working on a jewelry box for my daughter. I took this weekend off though, I am just relaxing, and it may not get done for Christmas but she doesn't care and I don't care. I bought myself some thermal underwear yesterday, does that count?
2) Do you still have presents to buy?
Nope.
3) What makes it a real Christmas for you?
Feeling bad about not buying anyone anything, packed grocery stores, atrocious music, and 4 days off work. Spiritually it means a lot more than that to me but that is the reality of it.
4) What was your best Christmas?
I don't really have a favorite. Christmases in the early years of my marriage were good, when my daughters were little. Opening gifts in the morning, a good bacon & eggs breakfast, and then the afternoon at my in-laws, the table spread was awesome.
5) What are your Christmas plans this year?
I have been restoring some cast iron cookware for a friend and he added a waffle iron today, I will put it in the lye bath tomorrow and clean and season it over the Christmas break if my plans work out.

Because December 1st is also "Day Without Art Day"
1) What is your favourite form of Art? (Music/Film/Painting/Sculpture/Writing/Graffiti/Tattoos etc)
Woodworking such as work done by James Krenov and George Nakashima
2) What Art form would you not miss?
RAP music
3) What would the world look like if all art were truly gone from it on this day every year?
I am visualizing the streets depicted in movies about the dark ages where people just dumped their garbage and chamber pots out the window onto the street.
4) Have you made Art? Share it if you like.
This is a chess queen I turned out of cocobolo. The world chess champion (Magnus Carlsen) has been challenged and he is fighting to retain his title right now in Dubai.
5) What does Art mean to you?
Art in various forms is a way to stretch my talents and abilities. I do woodworking and customize lanterns. I have zero musical ability
