Wooow amazing theme!! @BlackOpium Thank you for tagging me!
You can't imagine *bleh*bounce
I am writing a novel about a imaginary forum which is a bit similar to SF and save lives, and I have already finished the outline. I tried a special writing method that in the story, some posts in a particular daily thread are included, and for many days they asked the members to post what does the forum make changes to your life. Wow SF!!!
SF totally changed my life. It brings the first few real friends in my life-- although we are from different or even total different background, live in different countries which are far away from each other, but it's so amazing that a long distance can't stop us from helping each other, it's what SF does.
It inspired me to write the novel. I tried to put things irl and my imagination in it, make it not a 'diary', to make the whole story more attractive and exciting. But SF itself is worth a wonderful novel.
It makes me became no longer the me before. Yes, it's the first thing I have been addicted to. Sounds crazy but it's not always bad thing to be addicted to something, especially for the first time, I find more passion in my life that I think about it and know I have something to wait when at school. It helps me when I feel bad. It gives me chances to help people as well as to help myself.
All in all, SF helps me soooo much and I wanna do something for SF too.

Thanks for tagging me @BlackOpium . SF has been here for me when I've been all alone. It's a place where I can say how I feel even though I at times am nervous about saying so. I hope that I can help people, because I've been there and know that I'll pro ably be there again with the way life is. SF to me is a place of diversity, honesty where people try to get better. It's a place of different personalities. Of creative people and people who deserve better. A place of support that has helped me personally.

Thank you @BlackOpium for the tag and the invitation to the café ... you are a wonderful person and I appreciate you*hug

SF has changed my life very much and especially that I don't feel alone and I found some amazing friends here.
friends I can talk to about anything and they don't judge me ...
friends who are real even though we are thousands of kilometers apart.

because my former in real-world friends no longer exist and what I found out ... it was very sad because they really didn't care about me at all it was all false friendship.

And then years of loneliness came and later I found SF.
I stopped being alone ... loneliness kills..but I was no longer alone. I was very pleasantly surprised that people at SF behave so nicely to each other and help each other ... the first year I just settled here ...I was just an observer and rarely contributed anything ... because I was afraid of my previous real life experience and my self-confidence was practically zero.

but the year 2019 was totally different I found on SF great friends and my best friend... i starting writing more posts, thread etc ... I started to feel at home here ... of course sometimes the fears sometimes come because my thoughts... i can't they stopped.
I'm SF member for two years. And I can say that if the bad things hadn't happened to me I would never have found SF and such wonderful and nice people and my friends ...
after all, I'm actually grateful that the bad things happened to me (I didn't write them all here) because it made me stronger and I found something new and more beautiful.

Thank you SF and all the members*grouphug2 ... and I love you very much my friends.*hug
Together we can do it.

Well...for a start, if I wasn't here, I would be beyond the point of clinging to some sort of support...which I'm not, and wasn't when I clicked to join.

First of all, when I posted my first thread where I told my story, I felt bad/anxious/emberresed a bit later and thought it was a stupid idea so asked to have it deleted, along with looking for how to delete my account, immediately. I guess I didn't want to read the responses either since I imagined they wouldn't be "pretty". But yeah, my request was refused (thank god XD), was pleasantly surprised, and that day was one of the best days in a long time (as sad as it might sound, lol...). I felt cared for and understood, and since I was given such kindness, I actually felt *compelled* (in a good way), to return it, and I try to, and if it makes 1 person feel better like I felt better, it's worth it.

This is my short term goal for us...however, in the long term, I hope we can help dig each other out of our situations if it's possible. If not, then make life bearable when it can be. I love the people here, I love sharing nearly everything, and I love the feeling of being loved (in a way) regardless if I know/think I sounded annoying.

I'm not here for long, but it helps, maybe distracts, but maybe that's OK for now, since without it, maybe I wouldn't even have a chance for a future.

Thanks, everyone. *hug
We love you too! And don't worry, they won't delete any of your stuff. I have 8 years of embarrassing posts to prove my point. lol

Ty for the tag @BlackOpium :)

SF means a lot to me and has helped me by being a place I can come where I know others have at least felt as bad or worse than I have to the point of not wanting to be alive anymore and also of sometimes just thinking a lot about death without necessarily having an active plan of any kind but just thinking about it a lot. I've been that way for a LONG time (off and on somewhat since I was 11) so it's comforting to know I'm not the only one who is like that.

I've met some cool people here over the years too and I'm glad for all the diff. forums, topics and just all the info that is on here. Whether you want to actively participate in threads or just read what others say I find it very comforting to be here among people who really understand from experience what it's like to feel such deep, intense, sometimes extreme kinds of things about life and just being able to talk about it without worrying about being judged as trying to get attention or any other nonsense like that.
I'm glad SF is here & I hope it will be here forever. Ty everyone here who has been so brave to be open about sharing your thoughts & feelings about what you've been through and helping others feel less alone by sharing that, it is very priceless :)

Thanks for the invite and the pancakes @BlackOpium!
SD is a very important place for me. There is nowhere else I can talk about how I really feel and have people "get it" the way all of you do. My mind is such a dark place and I Don't know what I would do if I was always stuck in here with no one I could talk to about it. I would probably be in a much less safe place than I am now. *hugto all of you!
I just went back and looked at this and realized my stupid phone auto corrected SF to SD! *rant/ :D
