The challenge given by @Rockclimbinggirl today is to do something for self care.
Can't think of anything Maybe to watch a movie instead of spending time online. Or make some supper.

I agree the suggestion has merit but I also think it can just work for some not others.. am still carrying on looking for work, (believe it or not) cheering up and entertaining friends but to me that is just a distraction whislt I ponder on my conundrum and .. I am apparently expected to cook gourmet meals every day at home by a BF who thinks I am just being a drama queen so..

I went for a walk at lunchtime to get a bit of exercise and fresh air. That's about as much self care as I could manage today.

It's kind of a cheat given I do it daily anyway. But i meditated, after a hard day at work it brought me some measure of peace again

I went for a little walk to the grocery store (about a mile if you combine there and back) to get some chocolate milk and a snack for the Caps game tonight... the toffee peanuts my local grocery store has a bag of for only $1. I'm gonna let myself take a break from my work to watch the game when it's on at 7.

Um, a story you say? Here's the story of my day. I got up too late and only worked 2 hours. At least I did work 2 hours. Oh, and they hired more people. So I guess that's the thing to do when your workers aren't getting enough hours, hire new people. lol.
Today I had a nice coffee drink and bought myself some things that I like, so I count that as self-care. Hope everyone is having a nice day.

Ha, ha, I don't know his name, I stumbled upon this online and it just affected me in such a positive way. His smile is contagious, it makes me feel happy every time I look at it.
