Thank you for the tag @Dante...love Bill Withers and this tune...
I'm a nurse, I know a few in the medical arts....
Kidney stones bite....experienced them a couple of years ago, the care was laughable and the bills weren't, insurance is really mostly a joke for many as it can be limited and still costs a fortune to have it and also take care of what it doesn't pay.
Sometimes I wish medicine was as it was decades ago...Dr. George, General Practice, saw everyone and treated every part of the body and truly knew what he was doing and cared ....glasses so thick I'm not sure what he was capable of actually seeing more than a few inches away.....but I still let him pierce my ears at 15 using a needle, ice, and a cork. And you got to visit with the docs in their office after being in the exam room...him and his old stinky cigarettes, lol.
I never wanted a blackberry, glad I never spent the money on one.
I loved typewriters, wish I still had the old IBM Selectric.

Looking for people who will accept me for who I am

Thank you for the invitation, Dante.

Old Tech Table

1. The original Game Boy. I still have mine, and it still works (not as well as it used to, but I can still play it). I also use my DVD player all the time, my movie and concert collection is all on DVDs.

2. Answering machines. I don't know why. They just creeped me out for some reason.

3. My flip phone, lol. I've had this phone for about ten years, it still works very well. I have no desire to start using a smartphone. I only use my phone for phone-related things. When I want or need to go online, I use my laptop.

4. Record players. Vinyl sounds better. Plus, there's something special about having your favorite music in a collection of records. I miss it.

5. Automobiles. Would love to be able to teleport wherever I need to go.

SF's theme song Fleetwood Mac Don't Stop. Every time I hear it always lifts me up whenever I am down.

Don't Stop
Fleetwood Mac

If you wake up and don't want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You'll see things in a different way
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Why not think about times to come?
And not about the things that you've done
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don't believe that it's true
I never meant any harm to you
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Don't you look back
(Ooh)
Don't you look back
(Ooh)
Don't you look back

Healer's Table
1) Do you personally know anyone working in a healthcare profession?
A few nurces, a GP and a dentist.

2) When was the last (non embarrassing) time you needed help from a healthcare professional?
Three years ago when I almost died (that was my wish, they just did't know) I ended in a hospital and had no choice but let them fix me.

3) What is the healthcare service like in your country/area?
Good and cheap I guess.

4) Do you think the healthcare professionals you have sought help from did a good job?
Considering they're not mind riders, and I didn't even want help, yes, they did a remarkable job.

5) What would you improve about your healthcare services?
Waiting times for some non urgent surgeries should be shorter. But I wish people stopped complaining so much because what I hear about some other countries we are in a healthcare paradise.

Old Tech Table
1) What is your favourite old piece of technology?
A washing machine with two buttons.

2) What is your LEAST favourite piece of old technology, something you are GLAD to be rid of.
Once upon a time I had one of those torture machines that yanks your hair out.

3) What horrible piece of tech from years past do you still have to use regularly?
I don't.

4) What old piece of technology do you wish they would bring back?
Machines with less brain that don't want to choose things for me.

5) What current tech can you not wait to get old and replaced with something better?
A cream whipper.

The Bar
1) Say Hello
Hola

2) What do you want to tell us?
I'd like vodka and apple juice, please, no ice. I know it's 6:30am but I've been awake for 6 hours already.
Bar and technology table combined. This was my favorite game as a child. Called Wiz Kid. Bartender can I have a screwdriver please? View attachment 43861

The bar is a metaphor like the tables, I didnt mean to end up getting drink orders *facepalm

Your drinks, sorry for the delay:

Vodka and Apple Juice

Screwdriver

Healer's Table
A table celebrating and investigating those strange creatures in the healthcare profession that look after us.
1) Do you personally know anyone working in a healthcare profession?
A former girlfriend's daughter just got her certification to be a CNA. I am so proud of her, going out and doing that, setting a goal and reaching it.

2) When was the last (non embarrassing) time you needed help from a healthcare professional?
About 3 weeks ago I had heart attack symptoms and went into the ER.

3) What is the healthcare service like in your country/area?
In this area healthcare is very good. I live in a wealthy area and money always buys good service. It is sad for lower income areas that have to put up with poor service.

4) Do you think the healthcare professionals you have sought help from did a good job?
Overall pretty good, yes.

5) What would you improve about your healthcare services?
I wish there was a way I could increase the knowledge about how the brain functions. So little is known about it.

Old Tech Table
Yup, an entire table for either loving or hating the old tech you have had or still have in your life :P
1) What is your favourite old piece of technology, it could be a Rotary phone, your first mobile with all those polyphonic ringtones, or a TB-303.
My favorite old tech is vinyl records. I wish I had room for a player and a collection in my room.

2) What is your LEAST favourite piece of old technology, something you are GLAD to be rid of.
Texting with flip phones.

3) What horrible piece of tech from years past do you still have to use regularly (like an old fire alarm system your company refuses to get rid of or a 20 year old door buzzer on your apartment building)
Our management software at work is about 20 years old. We manage everything with it, sales orders, inventory, everything. It is terrible.

4) What old piece of technology do you wish they would bring back? (like 8 track tapes, or typewriters)
Really old mechanical typewriters are just the coolest thing.

5) What current tech can you not wait to get old and replaced with something better?
Internal combustion engines.
