My absolute favorite work of art is House and Factory of Monsieur Henry by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. It is amazing to see in person (it's at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and almost looks real and as though it is in movement. I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Later, an art history teacher said it reminder her of Edward Hopper in terms of giving a feeling of loneliness. I think about this work a lot. I can't say what resonates (aside from the idea of it feeling lonely), but in a way it haunts me.

I always love a doggy RCee cafe! We've just heard that my mum's been accepted to adopt a new dog from the shelter. He's called Milo and is an older chihuahua cross. I'll show you some photos when he's home

Finally! I know that you've been looking for ages and the demand has been quite high. He's a real cutie (though Eddie is insanely cute )

I'm assuming they're going to meet at some point. How'd you think that'll go? I'm not sure what Eddie's like with other dogs
