I thought I would open Jim's Cafe again. This time it's Weekend Edition.


You guys got any plans for this weekend? I don't really have any. I'll probably try to go for an extra walk around the neighborhood. Other than that, not much else. I am gonna post some random pics.

In typical British fashion we've only had two weeks of summer. It was in June. Then it was gone. I need more sun, I'm not ready for autumn yet

 

[Holding my breath]

Spent the evening outside working on my garden. Started with a complete blank canvas pretty much and now gradually building things up again. It’s nice because while I’m out, no one bothers me. I can just be quiet, perfect. The downside of autumn is the nights drawing in and I won’t be able to get out side in the evening after work. I’ll have to look forward to spring to see everything I’ve planted start to grow.

It's my son's birthday this weekend so his girlfriend and I have rented a little cottage for a few days for him. It's really pretty here, probably one of the prettiest areas in England. We booked it a while ago as we thought it looked quirky. It turns out it's actually a converted public toilet block

Hey @Blue Star thanks for the tag, love the pics! Perhaps I'll take a walk this weekend also take some pics to post
I love fall, the smell of pine, the leaves and the crunchy sound they make when you walk on them, plus I live surrounded by trees so the fall colors are beautiful.
