Good morning/afternoon SF friends. Happy national Grab your Nuts, peanuts😛, where was your mind? and watermelon day. Thought that was cool being it's been such a hot summer over here, East coast USA. Hope everyone is feeling well. 💕

I get up pretty early so I thought I'd grab the cafe keys and put on a pot of coffee and tea and cut up some watermelon. And how bout some questions to stimulate our brains? 😛.

Thank you for the tag. Good morning.
The turtle is so cute.
And I've had to learn to live without nuts, Lol. Especially almonds, kidney stones don't like them, .
Besides O2 and H2O, life is not life without love and compassion in it.
I'd try my hand at being a magician.
Dogs are wonderful.....I have a couple. One of them, Samsun, is my avatar. All animals are wonderful.
Prem is a name I was given years ago. It works better than the birth name.
Traveling is a guilty pleasure for me now.
Feeding hungry children in this country. Actually, anyone that's hungry. People and animals.
I basically learned how to be in the world on my own time. But I do give my father respect for being honest and one of the best in his line of work, So that was an educational benefit for me.

Everything is now a bit calmer for me, though I'm still far from feeling good.

What's one thing you can't live without? - A false promise.

What's something that not many people know about you? - Who I am, even I don't know about that.

Books!

2) What's something that not many people know about you?
My poetry and that I even write it at all

3) If you were a character in a circus, who would you be?
Some sort of mystic/psychic or sham healer lol. I don't know if they have those in circuses or not but I'd love to wear the outfit and pretend to read from a crystal ball.

4) Are you a cat person or a dog person? Do you have a pet?
Both. I adopted two cats a couple of years ago and they changed my views on felines forever. Before I didn't like cats. Now I love them lol

5) If you could have picked your own name what would it have been?
I actually really like my name a lot so I don't think I'd change it.

6) What is your guilty pleasure (s)?
Reality TV from the early-mid 2000s & "broccoli" lol

7) If you could get all your family members to donate to a charity what would it be?
This is a tough one. I want to say underprivileged/underserved youth because so many social issues could be resolved or avoided if more people had more opportunities and love.

8) What's a positive trait that your parents showed or taught you?
The difference between being a traveler and being a tourist.

Hi @Lane , thank you for the awesome Café and for inviting me.

The weather here still sucks (rain and cold), I got a tiny shitty little bug in my trousers that bit my legs all over and got me paranoid about having bed bugs, but in the end I'm having a peaceful and lovely week alone at home (and with friends), so it feels like holiday.

1) What's one thing you can't live without?
I guess I could literally live, but I wouldn't be 'me'... My music. I consider my friends not to be "things" here. :P

2) What's something that not many people know about you?
My favourite subject in school was Latin, I did 4 years of it (I had to stop to prioritise maths and sciences) and I was crazy good at it. The bit no one knows is that I would keep translating latin texts during school holidays. Because I obviously know how to have real fun. Only one person knows that, I don't want to seem too crazy in front of people. * facepalm *

3) If you were a character in a circus, who would you be?
The bunny coming out of the magician's hat.

4) Are you a cat person or a dog person? Do you have a pet?
More of a dog person, but I've never had the opportunity to get to know any cats. I don't have pets.

5) If you could have picked your own name what would it have been?
Practically any name but my own. I like unusual pretty names, and it has to sound good in French, in English and in Slavic languages, which is very tricky.

6) What is your guilty pleasure (s)?
I don't feel guilty for my pleasures. Chocolate, coffee, ice cream, bunnies.

7) If you could get all your family members to donate to a charity what would it be?
A good animal sanctuary. They wouldn't though, lol.

8) What's a positive trait that your parents showed or taught you?
My mom - hard work, perfectionism. My dad - humour, "metalheadness".
