@Lane Sorry I'm so late. Just been struggling to keep up with things lately.
1) What's one thing you can't live without?
Good and varied foods. If I had to eat the same thing all the time, I'd be miserable.
2) What's something that not many people know about you?
I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was about 15 (in 2008, when that label was still being used.) I have heard varying perspectives from others more recently about whether I come across as someone on the spectrum, so I don't really know what to think at this point.
3) If you were a character in a circus, who would you be?
Idk if this counts, but I'd like to do some of the music I guess.
4) Are you a cat person or a dog person? Do you have a pet?
I love both. I'd say I have a slight preference for dogs. I don't currently have any pets of my own, but my house has 4 cats, 4(?) snakes, and 2 lizards.
5) If you could have picked your own name what would it have been?
I did pick my name, and I like it. But it sounds similar to another more common first name, so it confuses people a little. If I had a do-over, I might have chosen Alexander as my name, ignoring the fact that there were a ton of guys named Alex at the college I was going to because I ended up dropping out a few months later anyway.
6) What is your guilty pleasure (s)?
I generally don't like feeling guilty about pleasures, but I'd say Reddit readings on Youtube. Some of them aren't very good, but I have fun watching them.
7) If you could get all your family members to donate to a charity what would it be?
Idk if I'd try and get anybody else to donate, but when I'm making more money I plan on donating to an organization that helps combat youth homelessness in San Francisco because they really helped me out a lot in the past.
8) What's a positive trait that your parents showed or taught you?
Curiosity.
