I made the above cafe sign thing, I also have a plain one that doesn't have the pix on it. If you think it would be better w/o pix please feel free to say so when/if you choose to reply here. Or not, just saying I won't be offended if someone says which way they think it would be better

this sign looks good to me.

2. What is one of your least fave things about nature? human uncaring

Peace and quiet in the woods. A step away from the business of modern life

Bugs

4. What is your least fave season? Spring because it is mud and ice season and buggy here where I am

Got to babysit my grandchild for a couple of hours today. He's only 2 months old and a god baby although he was a little fussy. I miss being out in the woods in nature. Maybe I will visit a park tomorrow (Sunday)

Tysm to all who have replied so far, and for the kind feedback on the Jim's Cafe sign thing I made I'm glad you guys don't think it's lame with the pix I put on it lol. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's answers, esp. to the non-nature q, it seems to have given the inspiration I was hoping it maybe would in letting people just feel free to talk about whatever was on their mind. I like it when we can do that in cafes, it makes some of the best/most enjoyable ones imo.

PS - Lol @Dante please don't worry at all, yours was one of the ones I enjoyed reading the most (not picking favorites here though I promise cos I enjoyed all of the replies here!) and I absolutely meant it when I said "anything"

Hey, JMG Thanks for the invitation. Hope your weekend is going well.

1. The look, the feel, the smell and the sounds of Autumn. I've always found this season to be the most beautiful of them all. In every way.

2. Bees, wasps, hornets, etc. My phobias.

3. Autumn. No contest, nothing else even comes close. It's the one season of the year I look forward to. Although I do love how the world around me looks after a being covered by a fresh blanket of snow. Very pretty.

4. Summer. No contest. I'm just not a warm-weather kind of person. This was made abundantly clear to me - in capital letters with an exclamation point - with the thirteen years I lived in Florida. They have one season, and it's name is HUMIDITY! Plus, way too much sunshine for me. I've never been a big fan of the Sun. Always been a creature of the night. Love the darkness. I have embraced the vampire-life (but without the diet of blood). I sleep all day and am up all night, even on my nights off (I work nights).

5. Anything I want to talk about, huh. Okay. Here's some very valuable free advice. If you ever come across a magic lamp and a genie offers you three wishes, here's what you do. Use your first two wishes for whatever you want, then use your third wish to wish for a new magic lamp with a genie who'll grant you three wishes. There's a rule about not being able to wish for more wishes, so this is how you get around it, and there's nothing the genies can do about it. You're welcome, everyone.

Thank you for inviting me to Cafe @JMG . I lost track of days since I'm on vacation. I'm in a beautiful place right now, Key West, Florida, where Mother Nature is a miracle.

1) my favorite thing about nature is its ability to be so gentle as a baby chick and powerful as fire, the duality.

2)my least favorite thing about nature is its inability to defend itself against humans...(minus extreme weather). And pesky mosquitoes.

3)I like Spring, the temperature.

4)doing fine at the moment,not dealing with reality 😆. Visited Butterfly museum which was very cool, hit the beach and had a seafood dinner do I'd say I'm in pretty good shape. Thank you for asking.

Animals, the sea

Spiders, bugs, wormy things, mosquitos, moths or anything else with an exoskeleton 😱

3. What is your fave season?
Summer. I love the warmth, the beach, getting my toes out in sandals, eating outdoors

4. What is your least fave season?
I don't really have a least favourite - they've all got good bits. But I hate grey, rainy days.

5. how are you doing?
I'm a bit (a lot) sad at the moment. My daughter has moved away and taken our dog with her. I'm really missing them both and with lockdown, I don't know when I'll be able to see them again.

Yikes Autumn! i keep wishing everyone... well, what you don’t particularly like. so i hope you realize that in this case my wish for you is for nighttime sun - like on the other side of the earth or whatever lifts your spirits! not specifically that beating down sunshine!

What is one of your fave things about nature?
- Light and chilly breezes.

What is one of your least fave things about nature?
What is your fave season?
- Wet season (rainy season), when it's a bit colder than usual. The weather makes it easier for me to sleep and calm, though I would have to postpone a lot of activities due to heavy and unexpected rains during the season.

What is your least fave season?
- Dry season, when it's the hottest by June and July.
