Hey all. Thanks for the tag @Champagne
I don't do much for Christmas usually, due to not being able to go visit my family since my dad doesn't wanna see me. My mom usually sends me restaurant/grocery store gift cards and my sister often gets me an Amazon gift card, which are all very useful for me.
White Christmases are great, but I think 3 feet of snow would be more than I'd prefer to have to deal with.

Christmas baking here today. A little down but not depressed. I got lots of cookies and tomorrow I will make some more (the final batch). 2 more days of work (Monday and Tuesday) before 10 days off for Christmas Break.

  1. What’s the most memorable thing that’s happened to you since last Christmas? Covid of course. I have not lostr any family members but the lockdowns made it worrisome. And of course, I got to work from home for the first time in my life.
  2. What’s your least favorite item on your Christmas to-do list? Wrapping presents.
  3. Would you rather have three feet of snow for Christmas, or no snow at all? After digging out after a major storm I will take no snow.
  4. If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose? Amazon
  5. Name three words that best describe Christmas for you. Lonely, hope, and I don't know
  6. The true meaning of Christmas is [fill in the blank]. Well, I am a Christian so it really is about the birth of Jesus Christ. I mean why do we have Christmas at all if not for the tradition of celebrating the birth. It could be in summer at the solstice and we would still have Christmas. I think the winter solstice was chosen to have Christmas because it was a light of hope at the darkest of seasons. My 2 cents - I didn't mean to be wordy.

Ty for the tag @Champagne :)

What’s the most memorable thing that’s happened to you since last Christmas?
Can't think of much, been a pretty dull & unexciting year overall. Lost a couple friends (not to death) and did not truly gain even 1 either but I think the implication in the word "memorable" in this q is meant to be something positive so overall I truly got nothin sorry. Hasn't really been a very "good" year overall but I know it could be a lot worse, that there's lots who are suffering a lot more than me. I am thankful for the good things and people I do have in my life :)

What’s your least favorite item on your Christmas to-do list?
Don't have anything on my Christmas to do list now except the gift exchange which will be happening on Christmas day. My least fave thing in general for Christmas each year is usually just the travel time between where I'm going cos it's usually just kind of a pain getting where I need to go.

Would you rather have three feet of snow for Christmas, or no snow at all?
No snow at all, definitely. It may look nice when it's falling & just freshly fallen on the ground, covering everything in white like it does, but after that? The slushy, disgusting black & white combo it ends up having everywhere? No thanks, dreadful.

If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose?
Hmm good q. Probably Walmart or one of the grocery stores near me I guess. I like to be able to use them to get things I need rather than just something frivolous. What can I say I can often be practical to a fault lol.

Name three words that best describe Christmas for you.
Cheerful, colorful and unpredictable.

The true meaning of Christmas is [fill in the blank].
Celebrating people you are grateful for in your life by giving them gifts, enjoying a nice dinner, visiting and spending time with them.

What’s the most memorable thing that’s happened to you since last Christmas?
Numerous run ins with the police when I tried to kill myself.

What’s your least favorite item on your Christmas to-do list?
Cleaning the house before visitors arrive.

Would you rather have three feet of snow for Christmas, or no snow at all?
Don’t mind. Although too much snow would mean no visitors.

If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose?
Amazon or primark

Name three words that best describe Christmas for you.
Family, kids, love

The true meaning of Christmas is [fill in the blank].
A day to reflect and just be.

Thanks for the tag @Champagne Not long to go till Christmas now.

Hey Good evening morning afternoon @Champagne happy to be here. its been cold but i went for a walk anyway. seems to be a lot of cardinals out today. one of my favorite birds.
View attachment 41245
you know, this one had me confused a bit. it actually has the look of a scarlet tanager. it did have the chirp of a cardinal and i’m not too familiar with a scarlet tanager’s so not really sure but i do know that particular area in the park is inhabited by cardinals. anyway, it posed for me for a second so i was able to get this shot!

as for these Qs,
  1. What’s the most memorable thing that’s happened to you since last Christmas? hmm, i’m not sure i can remember! and those things i do remember i don’t think were so memorable. i know, let me figure this out and try to answer it later.
  2. What’s your least favorite item on your Christmas to-do list? starting a Christmas to-do-list
  3. Would you rather have three feet of snow for Christmas, or no snow at all? definitely three feet of snow.
  4. If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose? Murry’s Cheese Shop.
  5. Name three words that best describe Christmas for you. i like @Sunspots ’ description but my own, ...wish it wasn’t missing...
  6. The true meaning of Christmas is [fill in the blank]. cold noses and warm hearts sorry for the extra word in #5
