What’s the worst date you've been on?
That would've been the one when my date didn't approve of smoking or drinking and saw me waiting for her with a pint of lager in one hand and a ciggie in the other. You can guess what happened next (I ordered another pint and lit up another cigarette.)

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?
Pizza, because it's a balanced meal - it has meat and veg balanced on a pizza base.

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away?
Got this t-shirt which has lasted me for 26yrs.....

Yeah, but you're essentially using someone else's art to make your own art. That's not really how art is supposed to work. It's supposed to come from you, personally.

I believe that "all art is a form of imitation" on some level, and that level can vary. But I think when there's work, effort, passion and respect involved, it's worth checking out, and it is art. The intention behind it matters to me. It's fair if you prefer the most personal pieces though, nothing wrong with that.

Wondering what happened here, because last I recall (I don't know, maybe I missed some valuable info), you were flying halfway across the world to meet the love of your life. What ever happened with that?

You totally surprised me with this, i had no idea you remember it from almost two years ago.
It wasn't across the world, just 2500 km to another country. Anyway, it turned out great, we're very happy together.
I had to come to my original country to sell a real estate and I couldn't prospone it. He couldn't come with me because of a lockdown. So now I'm stuck here with covid and he's there worried sick. It'd be worse if he saw me like this, i mean through the screen i manage to persuade him it's nothing.

Today I am staying at home all day for the first time during my vacation. I am working on a couple lanterns, getting them running again, watching Netflix "Hell on Wheels", and drinking nasty bourbon.

Here are some psychology facts for you, I hope you find them interesting What do you think of them?

1. Good morning and good night text messages activate the part of the brain responsible for happiness.
2. Definitely. I got the phone number for a young woman at work and text her every morning and the response is such a rush.
3. Doing things that scare you will make you happier.
4. Yes. I have a phobia about getting shot through a window when the light is on in the house and it is dark outside; you can't see outside but from outside you can see in the house. The porch where my lantern shop is has no curtains, it is all glass outside. Working out there in the morning hours is such a rush, to defy my phobia and do it anyway.
5. The average amount of time a woman can keep a secret is 47 hours and 15 minutes
6. A man lasts like 10 minutes.
7. likely to last a lifetime.
8. Women who have mostly male friends stay in a good mood more often
9. I feel this is sexist, no comment.
10. People who speak two languages may unconsciously shift their personalities when they switch from one language to another
11. Yes. Pennsylvania Dutch is my primary language, I could not speak English when I started school. When I speak Pennsylvania Dutch it brings up all the old religion, the way I was raised, the feelings I had.

1. worst date : the girl i dated that was intensly needy for sex multiple times. by the end i dreaded each date. i finally broke up with her and tod her i can't keep up with her needs lol

2. same food : lobster, i coul eat fresh maine lobster every day for the rest of my life

3. clothing i can't throw away : pants that are too small i hope to lose weight and fit into them again

4. pineapple on pizza : hell no ! i only like pineapple on ham. and putting pineapple on pizza is gross in my opinion, not normal. sorry pineapple lovers lol

Yes, only most recently though; like a year ago: when i essentially lived off/on delivery pizza. So, its the kind of hawaiin (j/c!) that has the canadian bacon on it... & not the other kind - which i can't even recall at the moment..

time is going much too fast. lately i feel as if i’m being tagged for Cafés several times a day. trying to catch my breath. but thanks anyway @Champagne , do keep em coming! its always nice to be here.

What’s the worst date you've been on? not really a date but lunch with a young lady with whom i worked but she was from another office. she also did not really care for me in the slightest but consented to having lunch. she was very sloppy and left tomato sauce all around her mouth. i suppose she wanted to give a bad impression.

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be? i often eat grape nuts every morning for months at a time. i bet i could do that for the rest of my life. so that fulfills the obligation and then i could have the bagels cream cheese and lox for lunch or dinner or midnight snack!

Which piece of clothing do you no longer wear but can't throw away? why are you always asking about my deepest darkest secrets? please PM me for the answer to this! nah, how about this... i have an salmon colored shirt from about 45 years ago that i have hanging in my closet. i’m afraid to try it on because the fabric may have deteriorated and i bet certain parts of me have outgrown it.

What’s the worst date you've been on?
I haven't been on many but I guess both of the only "blind" dates I went on were not so good in diff. ways. Both had to do with a lack of attraction to the guys but I think my reasons were pretty valid (as in, it wasn't a matter of just plain judging the physical features themselves, but the presentation and just the general way they acted. They were clearly clueless which is prob. why they were willing to go on blind dates to begin with. They both seemed to like me so it was unfortunate they weren't able to make an acceptable level of effort or I woulda been willing to give them a chance (as in, go on more dates with them).

If you had to eat the same meal at least once a day, what would it be?
Samosas or pasta, love them both a lot

My Disneyland sweatshirt, not only cos it has extreme sentimental value (only time I ever went there & prob. ever will be able to go there) but cos I genuinely love how it looks with the word "Disneyland" written in rainbow letters, it's a very well made shirt imo, just got worn & then washed so many times that it's now pretty threadbare which is why I no longer wear it. I will def. keep it forever though

Sure it's fine. I'm fine whether it's on it or not, just wish I could eat pizza at all anymore. Oh well, if I could then my weight would only be even worse so I guess it's been a blessing in disguise. Oh and as for the "case" thing, sorry just don't have the energy to be doing that right now lol.
