Happy belated birthday @Snake on the Moon Sorry I'm late.
One of my favorite books when I was little was Officer Buckle and Gloria. It's about a policeman who makes safety presentations at schools. His presentations are always boring, and the students ignore his safety tips until he starts bringing a police dog along.

PS - Glad you like the cake @Snake on the Moon & I love it too even though there's other animals I like more than snakes, I've always thought they were cool & if it were possible for me to have one as a pet I think I'd really like that a lot. They just seem fascinating to me. And lol ikr about whoever made it having talent, I definitely agree!

I must still be a kid I can think of a bunch. Like The Runaway Bunny which pops up in collections of stories books now and then. I also liked the book Read Me More Stories which was the book it was in way back when I was a little kid. Then there's the Winnie the Poo series particularly pre Disney. And a Golden Book called Tootles. And don't forget doctor Seuss!!! I also loved some books I read to my kids. The Caboose That Got Loose, in particular. It was a long poem. Of course I took to making up my own storie books to "read" on the spur of the sleepy moment as they and I drifted off. But let's not get all choked up about it now...

And how could I have forgotten chug chug chug, puff puff puff, ding dong ding ding.... THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD. the all time favorite 😍?!?!?

I actually love king snakes to be around here because less likely to see the venomous ones around, always a plus.
