Nothing too much out of the ordinary in Australia this time of year; bush fires raging all across the country, rain and storms hitting Sydney, droughts affecting major regions of Queensland and, lately a heck of a lot more shark sightings (even a monster 7.1 meter Great White that was spotted less than 40 meters from the shore of one of the most popular beaches on the east coast in the last week)..
Just an ordinary January Down Under!

morning everybody,

I have been trying to get pictures of some of the local wild coyote population in my city recently. No dice so far. I see them once in a while when i go for walks by the river but haven't caught them when i had my camera along. One day. Wildlife photography is a patience game. lol.

Or perhaps they see you with a camera and suddenly run into hiding, and only show themselves when they know you are not going to surprise them with a snap or two :-p

Ha! Probably. I saw some deer on the university campus where I work yesterday morning. No camera with me of course. There is a family of deer that lives nearby in the park but I thought the construction going on across the street had scared them away. I guess not.

Deer, coyotes... just where do you live, on a nature reserve? lol
That would be akin to kangaroos hopping through the suburban streets of Sydney (never happens, by the way!)

Western Canada. The city is fairly large but wildlife still occasionally comes in to the neighborhoods near the edge of the city limits.
