I'm a trans man and I identify as bisexual. I might actually be asexual and biromantic, but I'm not sure if I am comfortable identifying myself as such currently. (I've been mocked for considering it in the past.) I think pan could potentially be an accurate label for me, but I choose to label myself as bi because I feel that that is a perfectly good identifier, and I've seen so many people using the term pansexual to treat trans people as other or to act superior to those with different identities, so I have just come to prefer the word bi. Not saying there's anything wrong with either term though.

I was raised in an Amish household. We were taught that it is wrong to be anything other than straight, this was beaten into us with a Bible over our heads. You won't understand how much this influences me today unless you have been brainwashed yourself. On the other hand, I have come to see this as a wrong viewpoint. It is hard to explain how I feel about it. The truth is that I accept people as they are; I believe we are born with a certain sexual preference, our preference is not a choice we make. My niece came out on Facebook recently as L, and I love her the way she is. This week she posted pictures of herself kissing her girlfriend. I admire her for putting herself out to the world for who she really is, not trying to hide it and being ashamed of it. I admire this in all people who are LGBTQ. I was in a public bathroom one time and I guy thought I was gay, he just assumed that for some reason; people had to hold him off to keep him from beating me. I hate the turmoil that LGBTQ have to go through because of the religious influence in America.
Straight, raised in a religious household, but always thought all people are people.
As for a winter landscape, used to enjoy this place and others like it... cross-country for hours or days in any direction that works. (The perspective might seem funny, but the horizon is a good 10-15 miles distant.) Trying to resurrect the ability to enjoy.
