Thanks for the tag and opening @JMG!!! Love the fall pix especially the one with the horse! Admit have saved that one to share with some friends.
As to the questions:
1. What has been one of the best parts of this year for you so far?
Nothing really springs to mind...just seems like another year of challenges (sorry not more positive) but am glad still have a job as was a tad concerned when some people left and worried might be a downsizing
2. Are you glad summer is over?
Yes has been horribly hot this year in southern california so glad to see the beginnings of fall cooler temperatures
3. What is your fave season?
Like others would have to say spring...when lived in mountains was winter as love the snow (miss it but not the drive to work)
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
Nantucket - to walk on the beach in the off season....
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
Yes but am not the best at keeping in touch so have to work on that as when get overwhelmed by life shut down and go into just essential mode of life...

In certain respects no, as it means I won't be lounging in the garden wearing but a pair of shorts. I'll probably have to slip on a pair of socks as well.

Saw a cafe hasn't been opened since the 19th which was over a week ago now so thought I'd open one today. As always I don't really have much of a theme except for some questions so here they are then.
If you aren't in the mood to answer questions then feel free to just talk about how your day is going, plans you have for the week or post pix of something you want, have or just otherwise like. Hope you all have a great day

2. Are you glad summer is over?
- Yea, its had its time, now its onto something new in the next season
3. What is your fave season?
- Probably Autumn/Fall :P Everything looks so beautiful covered in reds and oranges and the promise of Christmas is looming
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
- I would like to go to Brussels and apologise for Brexit, even if I voted remain... it was such a dumb move on our part...
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
- To answer this I would have to define it first. Just because you know someone virtually doesnt mean they arent real friends and part of your life, so I am assuming you mean friends we have a large proportion of our social contact with in the real world. Further, just because you hang out with someone doesnt make them a friend, So I would have to define a "real life friend" as someone with whom you share a close relationship of mutual trust, respect and care which does not extend to romance and whom you see regularly in person.
If the above definition holds.... then no. I have people I have regular social contact with in person and people who I care about and who care about me, but no intersection between these two groups.

This weekend was pretty amazing.
2. Are you glad summer is over?
I love Summer and we really didn't have a very proper one this year, so not really glad that it's over. I like Autumn too, though. Just no rain please. ^^
3. What is your fave season?
Both Summer and Autumn are.
4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
London would be pretty nice.
5. Do you have at least 1 or more real life friends?
Yes, I have a few "real life" friends, from school or met online. They affect and are a part of my "private" life, that's how I distinguish them from "virtual" friends, but I happen to have met all my friends at some point anyway.

Same as last year...working from home. I can squeeze in a lot of chores that would be put off to the weekend. Plus working in my socks and underwear only is relaxing. Plus if I want to drink beer nobody there will ever know. LOL

I am. I like the lowering and cooler temperatures.

Can't think of a place at the moment. There might be some that would be fun in normal circumstances but with all going on in the world...

My favorite season is spring. Because a new semester starts at college, and the flowers bloom, and I feel like it's anew start. The weather is not horrible in the desert in Spring
I have a friend at home. Who I live with. I feel safe there. And I have my kitty cat. I have a therapy call on next Monday.. I'm trying to hang onto that...

I am currently sitting on a beach at 10pm at night looking at the stars. 🙂 trying to hang on to that.. especially today.

My sister had a baby became a uncle for the third time.

An occasional up here and there in a glum year. Today an up....I just got home today from a friend who this morning called and said she needed my medical assist in person, she hates doctor offices. First time I've been in her house in almost 2 years since covid. So I got to visit with her and her partner and daughter. for a few hours....and solve her medical issue.....nice day.
Yay, Summer's ovvverrr almost here....Fall is favorite.
I'd like to go to Spain for a few months or more. or the Carolinas for awhile.
My close friends are gone except for the two that are in Cali and a couple of people here locally I get to occasionally engage with like today. Several good acquaintances on FB.

My first grandson growing up. He was born Dec 22 2020. I had forgotten how the babies struggle to hold their heads, try to move or crawl on their own and just thrilled with the world. Yes I worked and traveled but he was the important part of the year. He's my only grandchild and I never thought I would get one.
2. Are you glad summer is over?
Yes and no. Yes because I hate hot weather but I like the warm nights to go out and have light after work to do things
3. What is your fave season?

4. If you could go to any part of the world right now, where would you want to go?
I want to go to Glacier NP or Alaska but both those places are cold and snowy right now. I would go almost anywhere if I could go for an extended period of time and even better - with someone.

1)the best part of this year was getting my high school diploma after 30 years delay with 94,4% which qualified me to get accepted in law school
At the age of 47!but better late than never i guess!
2)I guess im half summer person as long as i can go to the beach..and half a winter person i like to snuggle in a warm blanket sipping a eggnog in front a fireplace while listening to jazz
3)my favourite session is spring
4)if i can go anywhere right now i would want to be in Boston i miss it so much i spent some time there and it just grow on me
5)unfortunately i can't say they are real friends..they are more of socializing and relatives and quantities
