Gin buck. One part gin, 2-3 parts ginger ale to taste, garnish with lemon or lime.

I don’t drink much nowadays anymore, but that was one of my favorites when I did.

Use Maine Root ginger brew and Tanqueray no 10 to get it the way I like it.

Usually I just drank Firestone double barrel ale with an occasional shot of Jägermeister (I‘m one of the, I guess rare, people who likes the licoricey flavor, I use fennel flavored toothpaste).

I don’t like either bloody marys or mimosas (even the “best“ ones taste like ketchup with rubbing alcohol to me, and I don’t like champagne), but I can get behind the idea of morning booze.

Thanks to @Angie for opening this cafe. *hug

What is your favorite cocktail?
I usually prefer to have my drinks straight, but i like a rum & coke now and then.

Does your country have a signature cocktail?
Oh, a tonne. The UK is basically the drinking capital of the world, the drinking culture is so strong here. You can literally google it and get recommended a list of "the top 66 British cocktails." Just to name a few examples, you've got the gimlet, the Tom Collins, the bramble, and so many different types of martini. We even invented a pair of drinks called "corpse reviver 1 and 2", specifically named cos it's used to treat hangovers, so that should give you an idea of the mentality involved. ;)

What cocktail would you like to try?
I've wanted to try a boilermaker for years, and i've wanted to try irish coffee for as long as i've been drinking. I really need to get around to ordering them some time. :D

Angie, good luck with your tests this semester, you got this. Thank you @JMG for tagging me. Screenshot_20241211-064752.jpg

I usually drink a vodka, cranberry with lime, boring I know. Also like a dirty martini with the olives stuffed with blue cheese, yum.

One drink I'd like to retry is a maitai. We used to drink those a lot in the neighborhood I grew up in at the Chinese restaurant
