Thank you for this delicious café @Angie
Name a dessert that is popular in your part of the world
The internet says... in my area... Colorado....

Dubai chocolate pastries, hyper-realistic fruit mousse cakes, and olive oil sea salt cheesecake.
Also icecream, custard doughnuts, and Cast-Iron Skillet Pies.

For me... icecream, baklava icecream, and dark chocolate fudge brownies.

Deep fried ice cream 🍨👍

(Don't know how, but yes 😂)
Former fry cook here. The way it works is that a high temperature is used and a thick layer of breading with a certain texture keep oil from seeping through the breading and affecting the ice cream. High temps mean that the outside cooks without enough heat radiating inward to melt the ice cream. Okay "Sheldon" out....

@Angie ☕️🥧 Thanks for opening the café.

Another Pacific Northwest person here.

Huckleberry pie

It's made with a type of wild berry related to blueberries, but which cannot be grown commercially. Be careful of grizzly bears if you ever go trying to find and pick them. lol Not kidding.

Don’t think there’s any desserts “native” to my rather boring part of the world lol, so just gonna answer the question as “some of my fave desserts” ;)

- Pecan pie
- Cheesecake (any kind really, long as it’s flavored with fairly “normal” kinds of things lol.)
- Churros
- Donuts
- Crepes
- Most kinds of cake, especially vanilla and chocolate
- Cupcakes (basically mini cakes, I know, lol)
- Ice cream
