Hey all, thought I'd post a cafe again for today :) I don't have a collage today, but instead just "1 pic" that I thought people could comment on/talk about. Feel free to say what you like/don't like about this pic, what you think would make it "better" or just any other thoughts you have about it :) ;) Always curious to hear about the feelings evoked by pictures too so please always feel very free to talk about that too :) Hope you like the pic, and sorry if it's not one you care for much. Hope everyone is well and that you all have a good day! :)

Ok I will put my own thoughts now about that pic I posted. I obviously DO like it since I personally picked it to be the "pic of the day" for the cafe, and also because I always post pics I "like" anyway, lol. But ya in terms of things I "don't like about it" well there isn't much that I don't like about it really. It has so many beautiful elements of nature in it that I love - sunrise/sunset, mountains, water, reflections, pretty colors and nice lighting. The only thing I feel it is maybe "missing" is I wish it had some birds flying in the sky, some ducks in the water and some cats, dogs and lots of other kinds of animals on the shore. Lots of animals in it would make it even better still for sure :)

Oh and the feelings it evokes in me are of calm, happiness, gratitude, harmony, peacefulness, tranquility, inspiration and love. It looks like a place I want to be and that I'd feel very happy and grateful to be in.

Still feeling quite sick (part of the reason for no 6 pics collage today) but really hoping (as I have been for days now lol) that today it will finally be better once I have slept and then wake up later. Really wanna go and have some onion rings and fries from one of my fave fast food places, have eaten very little overall for the last several days, and the few things I have been eating have of course been very boring/bland foods that would not "aggravate" the dreadful cold symptoms. Definitely wanting to get well as soon as I possibly can. Ugh feeling so hungry right now so maybe I should go have some more very exciting soup that I am definitely not feeling remotely tired of eating (sarcasm lol, sooo tired of soup omg).

Ok well hope everyone else is well though and that you all have a nice day, oops I think I already said that in my original cafe post, well whatever, better to say such things like that "too much" rather than "not enough" I guess ;) :)

@JMG Thank you for opening up the Cafe! Again gorgeous pictures! I actually like the one you tagged me under the best! The contrast with the sunset colors is beautiful ❤️💜 it's a feast for my eyes. I feel.like I want to just swim in it. In the waters and lay there.

I hope you feel better soon, I'm sorry you're sick right now. Hang in there. Make sure you get some protein if you can.. maybe if your tired of soup, mashed potatoes or baked beans? Side things like that? Or oatmeal, or Ramen? Hoping you feel better soon *hug

I'm just doing homework all night right now It's 2am. Then I go to work at 9.

I actually personally prefer this snowglobe picture. It makes me think about how i need to get around to playing Cocoon at some point. (The game, not the movie :D)

@JMG no need to ever say sorry for how you do an opening of a cafe. I like the photo you have up there, and as I arrived at the cafe I saw all those lovely tempting goodies which @dandelion s added. I hope you're getting over whatever sickness it is you have/had.

I hope everyone is finding some peace, not just today but for all of it. My words are few today.

The first thought that comes to mind is Bob Ross. It makes me think of his paintings, as he painted a lot of mountains. It looks like a peaceful place to have a cabin near for a summer home. i feel a sense of adventure from it, an urge for exploration.

The painting with the ducks makes me think and feel springy, rebirth (think of flowers that die off in winter but are reborn in spring). Kind of makes me think of Easter as well for some reason. 🤔

The globe with the flowers in it feels like a wonderful terrarium. Like this perfect little world protected by a glass dome.

The last one i really love the colors and scene. It feels like the time of day or evening rather, that I would be out enjoying everything. Its like a quiet place to hide away in peace.

Today I have felt excited and nervous and I have sone lyrics that keep repeating in my head all day. 😅 they express how I feel about my doctor appointment tomorrow. I came out last year as transgender and I am hoping that I finally get to start on T. So I feel excited for that yet nervous one, because I think I worry "what if my doctor decides not yet?' Which would really suck a lot 😔 and two, i feel nervous because if I do get to start it, I have to learn to give myself shots 😅 I am not stranger to needles (I have 27 piercings and 6 tattoos) but, giving yourself a shot is very different. Nonetheless, I am for once looking forward to a doctors appointment.
