I woke up saw it was very foggy so went back to bed with the belief that the museum had been closed due to fog

What are you up to today? Any cool and exciting plans?
Well it's Thanksgiving here in the USA, so I'm off work. Currently I'm reclined in the chair and Calypso is sprawled out on my lap. I'm going to work on some Christmas projects, watch Netflix, go to some zoom support meetings and hang out on SF.

Later I'll make dinner. I'm making chicken, sweet potato mash, regular mash, French green beans and carrots. I'll have that with Hawaiian rolls. For dessert I'm having Red Velvet creme cake with rocky road ice cream. The joys of being alone is I can have whatever I want, and the fact that other people don't like those things or that combo doesn't matter!

Nothing much. Have just finished making a garland for a friend for Christmas. If I can face the cold I might meet a friend for a cup of tea in the garden (not allowed in eachothers houses yet).

Christopher Reeve as Superman. It was a short lived crush.

If you could use magic to do one mundane task for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I'm going to be sneaky and lump all of the household chores into one. So tidying, cleaning, laundry. What would I call it? Probably something along the lines of Lazyarmus.

Sorry I'm late, I got hit by a unicycle.
(True story, I was meeting a friend for lunch in London and as I went to cross the road I almost got hit by a milk van. Stepped back to avoid it and got run over by a man on a unicycle.)

I don't think anything I've bought has been particularly "strange" I usually just buy kinda normal things like books, clothes, shoes or gifts for people.

I'm going to work. but I get time and a half pay. I need it and will gladly take it. I try to be at work most holidays if I can.

The chore of eating. I would have a spell that could make it already done, in a snap. So I don't have time to personally mess it up 2 times a day. No guilt. No shame. maybe " It is done" in a Morgan Freeman voice.

everything has its uses and purpose, so nothing is really strange to me. But I guess paper towel holder and silicone mould shapes for resin epoxy crafts..lol I just got some pipe fittings and a snickers the other day.

My cats anal gland ruptured one time. I called out to take her to the vet. They were curious why. They were okay with it. 😜

What’s the strangest purchase you’ve made or almost made online? Nothing strange, I barely shop online and so far I have only gotten candles, skin products and oil pastels.

What is the best excuse for being late you’ve heard or used? I don't recall anything from others, well except nowadays people are usually late for their online meetings because of net issues. I am almost never late for anything ever since I grew up, and I hate people who aren't on time.

chopped up fried chopped tomatoes and onions (seasoned with salt, pepper, chilli powder and fresh basil) lathered onto grilled sourdough bread, add lettuce, sausages and bacon (streaky) add sliced gherkins on top and on the other side toasted bread slice, spread some mustard and slap it on top.

If I could do one mundane task with magic, it would be doing my hair. I have a lot of it and it's long and hard to manage.

Strangest purchase? I suppose, virtual game currency is a pretty strange purchase to make. You don't really get anything out of it other than progressing in a virtual game. It's not something you can physically have or hold.

There is no good excuse for being late unless someone is dead or dying. And even then, you should warn the person. i hate people being late. Unless, I guess, you're the one dying and can't warn them.

I have social anxiety too, but you know what, when it comes to parties (generally speaking, with only regular people rather than celebrities), they're kind of pointless. Just a bunch of retards getting fucked up and having hangovers the next day. Not worth it, if you ask me.

yeah, I've never seen much appeal to parties anyway, but I've never been sure if that's just cause of social anxiety or what. I've been to a few family parties and felt sick the whole time with how awkward I felt and couldnt wait until it was over

I don't think that it's just because of social anxiety. At least, not in my case. My social anxiety is such that I'm actually okay in the middle of a crowd as long as they mind their own business and leave me to mine instead of bothering me and trying to talk to me (unless the person is somehow magically an interesting conversationalist, which doesn't happen often). So for me, it's just the whole scene that seems ridiculous and pointless.

that's a good point, I'm probably the same. I don't always feel anxious amongst people, I can be in a busy place and be chill as long as nobody tries to interact with me like you said. I think it's the anxiety that there's a possibility that people might talk to me/I might have to talk to others that puts me off rather than being around people in general. I think even without social anxiety I'd still prefer to just stick to a couple people that are interesting and I feel comfortable with rather than a whole bunch and yeah general rowdiness isn't appealing to me
