Saw there hasn't been a cafe posted in about 4 or 5 days so just thought I'd post one today.

For those like me who live in Canada, HAPPY CANADA DAY!:)*stars

Hope everyone is well and that you enjoy your day. The theme for this cafe like always is some questions.

1. What is one of the things you like most about the country you live in?
2. Have you ever been to another country?
3. Is there another country you want to visit?
4. Do you live in the same country you were born in?

5. What's the hottest weather you ever experienced?

Thanks for the tag @JMG Somehow, I don't think I realized you lived in Canada, but that's cool. I like Canada.

1. What is one of the things you like most about the country you live in? I like the size and diversity of the US, how different states have different cultures and stuff
2. Have you ever been to another country?
I've been to 6 other countries (not counting airport layovers): Canada, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands. I've barely been to Denmark though-- I only count it because I left the airport, even though the only thing I did there was take a taxi to a hotel, eat a sandwich, and sleep there overnight because a delay in my flight caused me to miss the last connecting flight into Amsterdam that evening, and the airline paid for everything surrounding my brief stay in Denmark since it was their fault I wasn't able to make it to Amsterdam that night.
3. Is there another country you want to visit?
I'd love to go to a lot of places. Current top choices are the U.K. and Japan
4. Do you live in the same country you were born in? Yes. I have only ever lived in the US. The longest I've stayed in another country was about 2 weeks.
5. What's the hottest weather you ever experienced?
It was about 114F/45.5C, in the American Southwest (somewhere in Arizona or Nevada, specifically.) It was a dry heat so humidity didn't make it feel worse, but my lungs didn't really like the dryness and I had a weird sort of cough.
One of the hottest days of my life was I believe at the Hoover Dam (on the border of Nevada and Arizona for those who may not know.) A woman at the visitor's center became sick with heat exhaustion, and it was a little bit scary.

1. What is one of the things you like most about the country you live in?

The natural beauty and varied landscapes. From the tropical rainforest, snow, and vast deserts.

2. Have you ever been to another country?

Only two. Fiji and Thailand. Both as a child.

3. Is there another country you want to visit?

Mainly New Zealand, which is a short hop and a skip from here!

4. Do you live in the same country you were born in?

Absolutely. In fact, still in the same city.

5. What's the hottest weather you ever experienced?

About 50 celcius in the outback. That said it was a dry heat. A hot summers day here in Sydney can be worse, due to the humidity.
