Hey everyone, here is a cafe for today, hope you like it and hope everyone is well :)
Theme can be anything you want, feel free to use the pics from the collage I put together here as inspiration for things to talk about (ie sunsets, forests/nature, animals, art and all kinds of other incredible creations in this big, stunningly beautiful and amazing world), feel free to pick a fave pic from the collage and talk about it/why you like it or anything else you want to talk about ;)

Ok now for my reply about the pics/whatever else lol :p ;)
It is very hard for me to pick a fave of those 6 pics in the collage, but I pick the rainbow squares one (#5 aka bottom middle pic, lol) because I love the colors in it and love abstract art.

Some of the many (less negative) things I'm thinking about are:
- Hoping I will be feeling better later today so I can go out (actually WANTING to go out so ya I must be quite sick, lol)
- Doing my best to stay positive and hopeful about things despite not feeling very hopeful about some things
- That it's my sweet little kitty's 5th bday today (it's why I put those black kitty pics in the cafe banner/sign thing lol)
I think (and hope, of course) that I am in the final phase of being sick so I am glad about the idea of it being over after today or tomorrow with any luck.

Hello everyone, thank you for the tag! Always happy to see the cafe :)

I pick number 1 because it's such a beautiful painting! I love the colors.

What's been going on with my life... I would say my small business is doing pretty well so far, not money wise because I still haven't got anyone who signs up yet, but I've got a few serious enquires so hopefully that works out :)

Good morning everyone!
Thanks for opening the cafe, and for the tag

My favorite picture in the collage is #2, the cathedral, but I also like #3, as it's also sort of a cathedral (to me)

I'm looking forward to a concert this weekend, my best friend and I are going to see bands that were popular in our day
It's kind of a pre-surgery chance for a couple of old guys to get out and see another show, like we used to
I put one of the band's songs as my selection for Song of the Day
Otherwise, I'm just trying to stay busy, and count down the days, into the single digits, 9 days till surgery

I hope everyone has a good day!

Happy Birthday to your sweet kitty JMG. *stars and I hope you feel better. I have to say that I'm addicted to owls, and I even had a nickname, Hootie at my last job 🤣. So I'm going to pick #6, but of course I luv all of them. They really make my day. Trying not to let negative thoughts take over and just be positive as possible. My tulips and hyacinths are in full bloom. 🤗. Hope all SF members have a good day today.

There are several pictures that i am very drawn to today.

i really enjoy the collage because of all of the colors. The top 3 images are probably my favorites. They give me a fantasy, dream like feeling. The 3rd one on the top row really just makes me feel a sense of calmness and peace. It's like a beautiful place to just meditate and breath in the nature and feel it. i can almost smell fresh morning dew on the moss and feel a comforting coolness from the air. ☺

i also really love the castle one. It is another one that evokes the fantasy feeling. The colors of the sky and the way the moon shines on the land below, casting a beautiful and enchanting glow on the water and grass. I enjoy the fact that there is another moon or perhaps a planet further in the background behind the mountains to the right. It's as if you're taken away into this magical new dimension. Oddly, it makes me think of Doctor Who and possibly a planet he happens to pay a visit too 🤭

The picture of the cat in the book popping up is incredible and intricate. Such fascinating details and artistry. I just want to have a closure look and study it from every angle.

The butterfly is really beautiful as well. The wings look as if you were to drop droplets of colors into the water almost. It's like watching something burst and bloom into something beautiful. Also, anything with wings represents freedom to me, and butterflies truly are beautiful to see ☺

Recently i decided to change my username on here. Formerly it was Dead~Boy. Originally when I made my username I felt pretty dead inside and it fit to my state of mind and somber mood.

But, lately I have been improving mentally and finding some inner peace and coming out of my shell (or dark hole of a grave 😅) and enjoying more of life. Still a work in progress and that's okay, but, I feel Neko~Boy much better suits me now and i rather enjoy it. Plus, i really love cats. Also, my inner furry is definitely a cat. Meow!

Thanks so much for opening @JMG and the tags...and happy b-day to your kitty!!!

Sorry have been missing for a bit...crazy busy with house stuff (heating/air conditioning yesterday and exterior painting today) etc.

I will have to go with #2 cause love stained glass...my husband's father did some amazing pieces that we have now but alas haven't hung as no real good place in house :(

So on my mind
-Just found out a friend diagnosed with early stage bone cancer
-Sunshine and warmer temperatures this week so might be able to put out cushions for more than one day in a row...
-Newest mini-horse at sanctuary where I volunteer is soooo cute---only as tall as a traffic cone...
-Financial realities of owning 20 year old home and being over 60/non-handy couple

Wishing all a wonderful day...and may the sun be shining or stars out where you are...
