Morning folks :) Hope you all are doing well and having a good week.

Its healthy but delicious, lunch time. What is your go-to lunch meal usually, mines usually a baguette with lots of healthy fillings.

  • Who do you sometimes compare yourself to? ...
I've learned to stop comparing. Its not good actually. I only compare to myself. 😹
  • What's the most sensible thing you've ever heard someone say? ...
"Stop contemplating on life."
  • What gets you excited about life? ...
Consider from someone who is loud and chatty, I'm a very exciteable person as well. I mean, it also hits me hard during a mock job interview when someone ask me "how do you rise from discouragement to remain excited?" I'm very well able to do that.
  • What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Wasting time being jealous over someone else's achievements.

Bonus question; What celebrity do you most admire and why??

Most of the kpop idol honestly cause they know how to hustle (they start their work at 5am..) and being healthy at same time while there's no outlook in letting out frustrations. I admire that.

Good morning everyone!! Champagne thank you so much for the tag!! As usual great pics and a lot of hard work by you!!! Thank you for all that you do!
My go to lunch: a croissant (I could eat 10 of them. Love ‘em!).
I compare myself to Kevin in Home Alone (seriously!) esp. after I’ve watched a scary movie.
Most sensible thing I’ve heard someone say: it is what it is
What gets me excited about life: all my friends at SF
What life lesson learn the hard way: things don’t get done by themselves.
What celebrity admire: Chevy Chase: he makes a lot of people laugh.
Everyone - have a terrific day!!! As for me, I’m pretending I’m a rock star today. Bring it on!!!! Check on you all later!!!! Don’t forget me!!

Thanks for opening with such great breakfast treats as always and the tag @Champagne...

So to the questions:

Who do you sometimes compare yourself to? ...
My parents with the hope that I have somehow averted/avoided re-living their dysfunctionalities in my own life

What's the most sensible thing you've ever heard someone say? ...
To speak your mind/thoughts and always look forward in life not backwards - from my soon to be 106 year old mother in law

What gets you excited about life? ...
Sorry to be a downer but to be honest at the moment I will admit not much given all that is

What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
That you need to speak up effectively if things are becoming too overwhelming at a job

Bonus question; What celebrity do you most admire and why??
I'm awful at celebrities... but guess would say all those that use their platform of fame/wealth to make a positive difference in the world of others - whether it be the environment, poverty, illnesses, education, natural disasters, etc.

Wishing all a great Tuesday....

Good morning everyone!!!

  • Who do you sometimes compare yourself to? ...
"Sometimes"? Pretty much everyone, usually not for positive reasons (sometimes though)
  • What's the most sensible thing you've ever heard someone say? ...
hmm...I'm going to go with what a friend said to me when I was trying to make a big career decision - "Where do you want to be in 5 years?"
  • What gets you excited about life? ...
The holiday season (and I'm not even Christian)
  • What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
To be open and honest - with someone! - about the things you are going through

Bonus question; What celebrity do you most admire and why??

I don't know any celebrities well enough to admire them (or not admire them for that matter)

Good morning and it is morning here for 5 more minutes! According to the weatherman it is now Fall. I'm just taking a break from work so here goes the questions

  • Who do you sometimes compare yourself to? ...
When I was a brown belt at age 39 I learned that we all have our strengths and weaknesses and it is all good so stop comparing oneself. I mean I knew that logically but karate taught me the practice (that was 20 years ago - I was a slow learner)
  • What's the most sensible thing you've ever heard someone say? ...
  • ??? Many things come to mind but can't think of one now
  • What gets you excited about life? ...
Creating stuff although I am very discouraged in the recent projects
  • What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Work is only a part of life - an important part - but not all encompassing.

Hello SF

My brain hurts, so no Qs today.

Haven't done anything productive today, not even crochet or knitting.

Need to shake off this blah and do some things.

Like withdraw some money from my IRA. I gotta have a bunch of dental work done - yikes!

Need to go to the AT&T store for some help.

I really still need a haircut.

I hope everyone has as good a day as humanly possible.
