Tysm for the tag @Champagne & for opening the cafe, cool q's as always too :)

What gets you excited about life?
Lots of things but aside from the obvious Star Wars and Mark Hamill lol some other things I love a lot about life are:
- Beautiful art
- Animals (esp. cats)
- Clothes/fashion
- Shopping
- Chocolate & all the other yummy food there is in the world too

Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Yes, extremely important to celebrate & be grateful for all the good/positive things we have.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
Yes.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Drawing, writing, creating things in general, reading, watching movies, playing games

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
How to communicate effectively or something practical like that most likely. A lot of things like that are obvious to me but it has been learned through having to deal with a LOT of...well...not very effective communicators. I don't ever want to pass on such unnecessary confusion, pain or misery to anyone else so that's why I try as hard as I do with that.

I put this art collage together earlier so just thought I'd share it here, please enjoy if you want & if not well sorry then but I like it anyway :)

Excellent’e-(as always!) ..;^) I almost Calle d u @Flying Fox ! HA (which would’ve still been a tremendous stupendous humongous ginormous compliment’e!)
Now I forgot what I was gonna ask— shat!!! :D
O.K., what kind of fashion do you like?.? Which kardashain is your flavour!?.;) ~*•^ they’re all so good 😊
Have you ever studied any communication (interpersonal?) if not , maybe you could do a course just for fun at your local college, I forget the term at our university where I studied - but it’s similar to seniors (elderly) & whatnot... that they often do in summers , or possibly take one at a community or tech school where the tuition wouldn’t be sky high
Having majored in it, a few observations: most of the exercises partaken in in school involve a lot of groups work, where you’re sitting around a table with four chairsšŸŖ‘ filled with four people, trying to accomplish a given project, or task. And a lot of times—you’re all sitting there wondering what in the world you’re doing the re? What practical application could this possibly have in the real world (as at times whatever the actual task is at hand seems rather meaningless in the grand scheme...) but it is not the point or actual focus: what is, is learning how to work with four other different people, personalities, and working styles. Which will most likely come in handy at any job where you’re working with others... now another thing which may be a little less applicable, is that when you graduate šŸ‘©ā€šŸŽ“ with one of these degrees, anybody who hires you, will automatically assume that you are a stellar performer when it comes to public speaking and technical writing. Obviously, not always a given. And some of those who went the furthest in the field (going on to get the doctorates); were ironically or not - the worst person to person - communicators on earth (or of our bunch!) so take that for what it’s worth; that said, they were both super brains that probably belong Ed in the science or math engineering dept.!;) waves 🌊 ā€œ hi, šŸ‘‹ guys!!!ā€ ;D

It is also on e of those things - where, it is probably the easiest things to study in the world (in theory) ...& yet! In practice (the real world), it can be one of the hardest (becaus yi may know what to do, but you stil can’t do it..) if you think about most of the epic breakdowns in your life, in almost any relationship, to some certain degree or anothe, they can very often be boiled down fo communication in some form or another (even if it is simply the lack there of!) ;););)

Thank you for inviting me and the tag @Champagne

Can’t answer the first two questions but here’s the rest, not really in the right mindset for those however,

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
One thing I’m proud of is the reaction I had from my A level students on results day this year. Within half an hour of them getting their results 3 of them emailed me because they were excited and wanted to share their news with me and to say thank you for teaching them. Just occasionally I notice that I have made a difference.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Unfortunately surfing the internet and social media. Time just disappears.

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
This one is easy. I teach ICT mostly. It’s a bit of a dying subject unfortunately and not all schools teach it now. Apparently kids don’t need to know how to use a computer any more! I’m fortunate that my school has continued the subject. I also have to teach some computing as well but only if I have to as this is not my specialty.

Thanks for the tag @Champagne :)

What gets me excited about life?
Travel. There's a huge world out there and it's full of amazing things, people, culture, nature and sights. I want to see it all.

Do I celebrate the things I have?
I didn't used to. But I think over the last couple of years as I've grown stronger it's been easier to separate the good from the bad in my life and therefore to appreciate the good things.

Have I done anything memorable recently?
I hand fed a tiger, a lion and a jaguar. It was terrifying but amazing.

What activities make me lose track of time?
Watching the sea, laughing with friends.

If I had to teach something what would I teach?
I have absolutely no idea. I'd be rubbish at teaching.

i’d like to say good morning to everyone and thanks to @Champagne for this cafĆ© and the tag. and yay that the alert actually meandered its way to me and early and i saw it and was able to respond 😊 !!! now for the Qs...

1) What gets you excited about life?
trees, flowers, babbling brooks, poetry, praying mantises, birds, music, mountains, blue sky, blue cheese, donuts, coffee, do you see? this list goes on and on and on and on and...

2) Do you celebrate the things you do have?
in ways, sometimes secretly, and in my own cryptic way, yes i do and even during those times when i seem to be lost and ranting or complaining, please take a look at question one above and that is where to find my celebrating.

3) Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
hmm, i can’t remember! wait. there was one thing... hmm, what was that... hey i’m kidding.... i’m happy with some poems and poetic prose i’ve been writing over the past couple weeks. i took care of some chores recently too in spite of feeling lost and lonely and disheartened...

4) Which activities make you lose track of time?
writing... being on SF... sadly, being locked in or just not completely out yet makes time blend into a big pool of any time and every time and time coming and time going...

5) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
that being who you are is more important that hiding who you are. that sometimes it may appear that its the opposite but hiding does cast a shadow over everything making it difficult to see the real.

6) (implied question: ...and remember you are just perfect, just the way you are. Don't change a thing unless it's a step towards the future.
yes i am taking steps toward the future. see question 5 above. i am taking steps and discovering and moving forward and beginning to reach out and take hold....

Excited about Spirit Halloween store! Do they have those everywhere? We're going today, and to the place that taught me to love parrots! It's like a birds only pet store but many are on consignment and up for adoption after long lives of being passed around. These guys can live human lifespans and have it quite rough and I love to spend time with them. One day I'll have a bird!

Good evening all. I hope you have all had a wonderful day, and those who haven't I hope tomorrow brings you even just a little bit of happiness. My day waas mostly uneventful, but it was good nonetheless. No work makes a happy brain fart.

What gets you excited about life?
Right now, the future, and what I am hopeful I will achieve. I am learning to drive, that will give me some freedom in terms of being able to go places. The thought that if I can get my license and a car, then next year my daughter and I will go on our first holiday together, and that I cannot wait for.

Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Today, yes. I celebrate the things I have. I have my daughter, who pushes me forward, and encourages me to be something more. I want to be so much more for her, to give her a great start in life, and to know that she is loved no matter what. I celebrate the smaller things too, because they are so often a little joy that can come from no where.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
Honestly not that I recall. Though I may lay that fault on my poor memory. However dealing with a few situations at work that others couldn't certainly made me feel good about myself.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Reading. Especially if it is a good book. Though thats also a bad thing for me, especially at night and I should be sleeping. I could stay up all night just reading book after book after book.

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Science. More specific Chemistry. That is my future aims. I am applying for university starting 2021 doing a degree in chemistry and then following on into teaching. It is the one subject I really remember from school because it was a visual lesson. Watching reactions occur, seeing results of what experiments we were meant to be doing, and just looking at things under a microscope.

Everything, lol. Nature, arts, the universe, people.....

Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Yes, perhaps not enough though. In particular I try to cherish the people in my life (irl and online) a lot.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
Sure I have.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Listening to music, talking to great people. Probably stuff like watching series does that, too. ^^

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Philosophy, latin, French literature, chemistry, physics, maths, sociology. In that order.

Good afternoon. Work is done. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish when work is done and home life begins when you are working remotely all the time. In a good way it may be like going retired.

What gets you excited about life?
Travel mostly.
Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Sometimes I recognize that I am very lucky. And then there are other times.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
As frustrating as it were, I am almost finished with a mantel clock. Something that more experienced woodworkers shook their head and couldn't give any advice.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Exercise - whether it be tai chi, karate, treadmill or hiking in the woods. Kayaking to a limited degree.

If you had to teach something, what would you teach? I'm not as good as others at any one thing. Maybe karate or tai chi nowadays.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering? I went horseback riding and I was scared shitless*nerves

Hi everyone *hiya, thanks for the tag @Champagne

What gets you excited about life?
New things to learn, do, see, explore...I think traveling excites me the most.

Do you celebrate the things you do have?
Oh yes. I also celebrate for no reason.

Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
If I don't remember I'm sure others do.

Which activities make you lose track of time?
Time isn't important to me. I have plenty so I lose myself easily in whatever I enjoy doing.

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Nothing useful probably.
