Hi all. Thanks for the tagging, @BlackOpium. I'm feeling a little down, I received bad news a few days ago. As for the questions:

What accomplishment are you most proud of? ...

I haven't actually done something useful in my life,so I'm not really proud of nothing

Which of your friends are you proudest of? ...

Besides of the people here in the forum, I don't have many friends, so I guess this is a blank space too

What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ...

I'm in love with two places: my home city and Aruba. The first one is a weird mix between urban life and jungle. The streets were full of giant, jungle-like trees. As a result of this, it wasn't weird to see animals like macaws flying and coming to our windows looking for food. Tiny monkeys jumping from branch to branch, sloths sleeping on the trees, it was really nice. The second one is Aruba, the most beautiful tropical paradise of Earth (in my humble opinion).

Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ...

Definitely a follower, too much pressure.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

Not exactly courageous, I would say it's more stupid than heroic, I blame myself for something I didn't do to help someone else.

Thanks for opening and the tag @BlackOpium ... and the treats of course!

What accomplishment are you most proud of? ...
Having gotten through forced early retirement due to toxic work environment, finishing a certificate program and starting a new completely different second career

Which of your friends are you proudest of? ...
I would have to honestly say all here on SF who despite their own struggles reach out to help and provide support, advice and encouragement

What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ...
That's a hard one---a tie between New Zealand, Switzerland and Austria and Idyllwild, CA---traveled to the first 3 and lived in the last for 18 years

Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ...
I am more often than not a follower but also independent minded enough to not lose myself in the process if that makes sense

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
Left a good job, moved across the country with no guarantee of a job but 2 interviews to be with the man who at the time wasn't sure would become my soulmate and husband...

Sending good positive thoughts to one and all...

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? ... I am proud of completing my bachelor's degree even if it did take like 7 years of stopping and starting
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of? ... My best friend K. because she's really passionate about teaching even though it took her a while to figure out what she wanted to do.
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ... Probably rural France, in the east, in the Alps, near Annecy.
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ... I'm typically a follower or I do my own thing. If I lead, it's mostly by example.
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done? Leaving my parents' house to move across the country when I didn't really have anywhere to go besides a youth shelter and only a bit of money. Was met at the airport by a man I had only communicated with online before. It could have turned out so much worse but everything was fine.
Thanks for tagging me @BlackOpium

Actually, one of the most courages thing I ever done out of the other courages things is that I finally had the guts to tell my married friends that I’ve been feeling lonely ever since everyone got married. In my head thinking they would get mad cause I feels that my blessings for their happiness is not sincere but I’m just glad 2/many of my married friends aka my big sisters only understood it and they haven’t leave me ever since, even if that no matter how badly my depression wanted to because I’m apparently brave enough to ditch that anxiety separation from my big sisters and socialise outside my comfort zone which is also another best courages thing of me to keep socialising even if I still feel lonely despite anything else.

hmm today i’m having trouble with the oven for something that needs to be roasted all day. it took 45 minutes to get the thing to light. and its out of warranty so getting it fixed and particularly during these days - it is not likely. so it will be dinner almost at midnight i guess. not all bad... twilight zone and the rest will have me be awake til 3 or 4am anyway.
so i’m glad for the donuts which i need for my coffee right now so happy to take one - and thanks (or even 2 maybe) @BlackOpium - Sorry to say i’m gunna have trouble with the questions. but i’ll give them a try @Kiwi2016 so thanks for tagging me.

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? ...
  • accomplishments for me is such a questionable thing when it comes to those that i might be proud of. i always thought going off to college was something to be proud of and for a long time i was, but lately i see it more as a major symptom of my disordered thinking. because doing that was similar to the other symptoms of my “disorders”. then there are skills/talents that i have that over the years i’ve kind of refined but not using them professionally /careerwise, can i consider them accomplishments? i also have dreams and they are still waiting on the “to be accomplished list” so i guess the one and only true accomplishment that i have to be proud of is that i have that list at all and that it is still active.
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of? ...
  • i have no bleeping friends. ok i admit that in so many moments of distress i say that and routinely have pointed out to me by my friends (here on SF) that “oh yes i actually do have friends”, i still dont know specifically what they do to be proud of. that is to say... i am happy that they are the kind caring people that they are, and so freely demonstrate that. yet none of them i know well enough to experience that kind of feeling. it is the detachment issue that i have for sure, but it does interfere so greatly. i don’t actually know what the experience of being proud is except for a moment during my older son’s graduation from college. it is just a bundle of something that is stuck somewhere inside and unexperienced.
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ...
  • two places come to mind equally. forests in real life, and in my dreams, the place that my avatar shows. forests are cool, moist, smell so good, are so full of nature and so free of capitalism and communism and insurance companies and drugs of all kinds and post offices that are noisily active across the street at 3 am, and subways, - and the list goes on. while all along forests, are true beauty. and fields of dandelions - well dandelions especially in fields full of them, are a truly beautiful living and learning experience for anyone alive.
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower?
  • ... i am absolutely neither. i am a follower to the extent that i really have no choice living on this planet yet i do my best to break rules as much as possible (when and provided that they are not harmful to others). and as a “leader” my ideas when i express them are routinely ignored if it might come to any of them being considered and or followed except for a couple that were stolen at work by someone else who took and was given the credit for them.
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
  • hey the answer to this might simply be the doing of things directly related to and a result of the symptoms of my alleged mental illnesses and or personality disorders. one has to look into this very carefully to understand and figure it out. still in some senses i do believe i have a great deal of courage while at times am the worst kind of coward. so being specific in answering this is best left unsaid.
  • of interest, all day since i got up and it is now almost slightly after 11:30am, i have been feeling so gloomy and am certain its a gloomy grey day outside but each time i look up at the window i see a bright blue sky. look away and i see the grey again. btw the roast has been in the oven now for about an hour and 9 minutes.

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of? .. There is a child who probably would have drowned at age 2 but I know CPR so she is fine being a happy little girl. She calls me a big teddy bear. :)
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of? ... What are friends? I have associates but nobody really close. Been that way for decades although there were a few people I was close with.
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? ... Drove through three states for work 15 years ago. Beautiful countryside and seeing other states
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower? ... A bit of both. I don't mind taking responsibility but am lazy. Others seem to prefer me being the leader and claim it is because I am methodical, precise and calculating, not in the sense of controlling others but in thinking many steps ahead and doing it quickly.
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done? Watching 5 minutes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, most horrifying 5 minutes of my life. That is the humorous answer.

  • What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Getting a first class honours on my BA.
  • Which of your friends are you proudest of?
My friend Angela - she's just always true to herself regardless of whether someone's going to like that or not.
  • What's the most beautiful place you've ever been?
    Mt Kenya or Nash Point
  • Do you feel like a leader or a follower?
I usually adjust to a required situation. I'm able to lead very well, but there's a lot of good to be said about being able to follow well when necessary too.
  • What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
I think photographing some of the disturbing things I did in war zones/torn up climates (for work) - also would be listed in my most pointless and stupid things I've done.
