Howdy folks!!! How are you all doing/feeling today? Yes, YOU, reading this, if you have never posted here before, join in and say hello:) I'm all good :) Feeling upbeat and positive.

Let's get some breakfast; btw what is your favourite breakfast? Mine would have to be pancakes with sugar and lemon, yum, but only eat them rarely.

Right lets get down to business and answer these interesting questions :)

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful?

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You?

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be?

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create?

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted?

Thanks for opening Opi :)

Man, I love pancakes with lemon and sugar - crepes, not those fluffy excuses for pancakes ;)

My favourite breakfast is probably eggs Benedict but don't have it often - particularly now with restaurants shut (life's too short to make hollandaise sauce at home).

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them? It depends what the advice was about. Hmmm... I'm really not sure.

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful? Kindness. It's brought me amazing friends who mean the world to me.

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You? They're not really. You don't get to choose your family, it's just luck who you end up with. The people who mean the most to me are those who choose to be in my life whether they have to or not.

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be? A few years ago I'd have said Creep by Radiohead but now I'd say it's more like I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor.

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create? Always look after the vulnerable in society.

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted? Haha! I'm always regifting gifts from my mother. It's become a bit of a family joke the bizarre things she buys people. But they do make excellent raffle prizes for local fundraisers *hysterical

I was so excited to see pancakes on the menu. When they arrived I burst into tears
*hysterical LMAO Sorry but that's funny
I like both types of pancake myself. I feel like we are getting crepes far less often here and when I move there I'll miss having them american style. (You guys are trying to do these things "american style" but it's often a swing and a miss, you know?)

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them?
Douglas Bader, amongst many others. I would ask him how to carry on when physically, you aren't quite the same as everyone else; I would also ask for tips on leadership skills.

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful?
An unwillingness to give up on my life and myself, and settle for something rubbish. So, determination and self-worth enough to continue.

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You?
When you have found a place with the right people, they are extremely important and should be one of your main priorities.

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be?
I don't think I have one, but I think I'd choose a very deep, soulful hymn, actually; something like: Jerusalem or Abide with me. Something to play to summarise my life more in-depth, meaningful.

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create?
From my own experience, I would do something general, and actually introduce some morality when appealing decisions for family matters. These things are often so unfair, and judges should be able to go against outdated laws and introduce common sense decency.

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted?
Usually bottles of alcohol, that I simply don't like.

My answers to the q's :)

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them?
Not sure on this one sorry. This q would be a lot easier for me to answer if it just said something more like "who is a historical figure you'd want to meet & what would you want to say to them? or something like that lol. If that WAS the q then I guess I'd want to meet Jane Austen but I dunno what I'd say to her except that I love her writing.

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful?
Hard one to answer but I think overall my stubbornness cos despite it perhaps holding me back in some ways I think it is also what's kept me continuing on despite being so misunderstood and unappreciated a lot of the time.

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You?
Very important but my mental health is also important to me so overall I don't have strong ties with many family members, I do with a couple at least though & I am very grateful for that :) I like what Bergerac said about finding a family in the world, if I were ever to truly find such a thing then they'd absolutely be a very high priority in my life too for sure.

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be?
Addicted

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create?
Kinda hard to pick just one there's so many things that I think could really help people treat each other with a lot higher level of thoughtfulness. The whole bullying thing really bothers me a lot though so I think it would be something in that area for people of ALL ages whether it is children in school not being bullied or adults not bullying other adults, that nonsense really needs to just stop already.

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted?
Yes I've regifted some things before but I try not to do it often cos it usually causes me to feel kinda guilty.
I regifted a gift card at least once before (for seeing a movie in theaters which I very rarely do).
I also once regifted perfume to someone too (I'd basically never used it so it was pretty much like new anyway).

Oops just re-read the whole original post in here & saw that it asked a couple other q's so I'll answer those now too :) I'm so-so today, that's great that you are feeling upbeat and positive, glad to hear it! :) I'm trying to feel that way too but I guess I'm more just kinda worried (usually am though lol), confused, unsure and I think a bit blah or something. Kinda wears on me sometimes to not really have any plans to look forward to (talking on a monthly or even yearly basis here) even if it was just something like going over to my sis's place for dinner next month or w/e. I know the whole...current situation of the world has made that more challenging but ya I hope that will be over soon.
One of my fave things for breakfast is eggs benedict. Really love pancakes/waffles/crepes, fried eggs, sausages, hash browns & english muffins too though. :)

1. Well, he's not exactly a historical figure, but still significantly famous: I would want to ask Davey Havok so many questions about BPD because it's always seemed to me, based on his lyrics and writing style, that it's probably quite likely he has this disorder. And if that is the case, I would want to get to know him on a more personal level, and get his advice on so many things. I mean, it can't merely be a coincidence that I can relate to basically every word he says when the man opens his mouth, lol. I know he's a very emotional person, so I can feel it in my gut that, based on everything I know about him, he probably has BPD. And it'd just be nice to talk to someone like him about it because of how intelligent I know he is.

Another one, after having done a Google search, is Jeffrey Dahmer. Apparently, he's had BPD as well, which definitely surprised me because I thought he would have been more of a sociopath/psychopath if anything. But if he really did have BPD, the main thing I would want to know is what role his BPD played in everything he's done. I mean, does he feel like he's had some sort of darkness inside him that needed to come out? Are there other co-occurring disorders in play here? Because sometimes I feel as though maybe I have a certain darkness inside me, as well, that may end up needing to come to the surface one day, mostly based on my lack of empathy and compassion for strangers.

2. Some of my most useful personality traits are being able to tell a lot about someone's character based on minimal information, and usually being correct in my assessment, being someone who is easy to talk to and compromise with (within reason), and being able to read others' emotions and body language pretty well when communicating face to face.

3. It'd be nice to have a family I was close with, but that's never going to happen. At least, not with my "real" family. And I've accepted that, so I'm going to say no, it's not important to me anymore.

4. Theme song would be Mercenary, "Embrace the Nothing". Or pretty much anything by AFI.

5. A law that everyone would obey would be to worship me, of course. And hand over a bunch of money, drugs, and food (especially bacon, other meats, and expensive cheeses) to me, such as one would do presenting gifts to a royal family. :P I would also like to have someone fanning me in the process.

6. The only things I've ever regifted are things that my mother had already previously regifted to me.

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them?
I'd probably ask The Buddha about the road to enlightenment, starting with could you point it out to me on Google maps?

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful?
My sense of humour (closely followed by an aptitude in bullshitting)

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You?
Depends on which family members *bleh

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be?

Hard choice, I'll just pick a random tune: I Am The Resurrection by The Stone Roses

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create?
Obey all my orders

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted?
There was once this nasty t-shirt. Orginally I gifted it to the son of some friend of my dad's for his birthday. The fucker gifted it back to me when my birthday came around. For the next few years we just bounced that t-shirt between us via the post until one day it dissapeared mid-delivery. No idea what happened to it, either it finally fell apart or some bastard postal worker with appaling taste decided to add it to his wardrobe summer collection.

Thank you for the tag @JMG <3

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them?
Henrietta Lacks (if you're unfamiliar, I recommend you look her up because she's responsible for most of the treatments for nasty diseases that we have - honestly a remarkable and still ongoing story). I don't know what advice I'd ask her though, I'd just want to meet her to thank her for all she's done. I am realising that it's not often I ask for advice so idk who I'd ask for that.

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful?
Intuition with people. Has been useful for my past NGO roles photographing vulnerable people and getting a good balance of what the job needs, but also what they need from me as their photographer.

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You?
Not at all. I'd rather choose the people close to me.

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be?
Underwater - D.A.R.K - this changes a lot though.

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create?
One must gallop down every street with more than 20 houses in a row on it.

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted?

My favorite breakfast...well that's hard to answer. I like bacon and pancakes, that's always good.

1) If You Could Ask Advice From Any Historical Figure, Who Would It Be? What Would You Ask Them? Maybe Jim Morrison and ask him what he would be doing if he was still around.

2) Which Of Your Personality Traits Has Been The Most Useful? My tenacity, because I would have been gone long ago if I didn't have that.

3) How Important Are Strong Family Ties To You? It's really important to me. I try to show my family how much I care, even if I don't hear from some of them much, or at all.

4) If You Had A Theme Song, What Would It Be? Firework is a good one. I can relate to the message.

5) If You Could Write One New Law That Everyone Had To Obey, What Law Would You Create? To treat one another with respect and kindness.

6) What, If Anything, Have You Ever Re-Gifted? I can't think of anything I've wanted to regift.
