I like this topic. It reminds me of my sister, She has always loved rainbows I just wish I could see her sometime soon.
Here's a rainbow crosswalk in one of my favorite cities. San Francisco! This is in the Castro district (famous for being the main neighborhood for the LGBTQ+ community in the city), where I used to go all the time for appointments or even just to hang out when I lived in the city.

Rainbows are great, but I love to sit on the patio swing and watch the storms and then the follow up from them and smell the storm and scents of the grass. No pictures of them from myself though. My mom never wanted me and my brother to be scared of storms so when we were kids she would get us out in them to play in the rain. Thunder and lightning are also great but if the lightning is striking near we were taught to stay under some cover if it was too close.

Aw ty Lane for saying that about the theme, I appreciate that a lot. I'd really hoped to get some seriously positive energy generated because I love rainbows a lot and think they are so beautiful and inspiring. I really tried to get that across in my post and how I talked about them but it doesn't feel like that got across very well or I think people woulda been a lot more inspired by it.

Anyway I really outta give up on ever being "that kind" of person, who inspires people and fun, exciting things like that, it just isn't meant to be my fate so I need to just accept that already. Oh you're welcome for the tag too, I did tag you but I think it didn't tell you I did. Hope you have a nice day too, I'm doing so-so I guess, trying hard to not let my mood go to a very dark place, hopefully I'll ultimately succeed. Going to bed and getting a good sleep will hopefully help.

Pretty sure it doesn't matter in the slightest if I say this since it's just me but I'm gonna damn well say it anyway whether it's appreciated or not - hope everyone has a nice day and sending lots of loving, sincere, inspiring hugs to you all These are not just empty, meaningless words I am saying here, in case some people have thought that when/if they've seen me say this. I mean it with all my heart but I guess in the desert that is the current world the majority are just tragically unable to even recognize such a level of sincerity. Very sad world I must say.

My brain because of my meds I believe can't comprehend or read as I used to sadly, but I'm working on that. I think I'd be much more active here. We can only do what we can do. Big hug.

Just agreeing with you here, Lane. This is generally a very quiet time at SF and it usually is. I've got no idea "why" that's the case but it definitely has nothing to do with the rainbow theme or anything like that so please don't think that it's you or any particular topic that you post @JMG

And like Lane already said, you and what you do here are both very much appreciated! Unlike myself, you actually have the motivation to open up the Café! I haven't opened one myself in a really long time so you're miles ahead of me (which isn't hard to do at all ) I'm a serious slacker so you should be proud of yourself for being so proactive! 💕💕💕

Maybe I was just being too sensitive, some very depressing things have happened in the last few years that have definitely done permanent, irreversible damage when it comes to how I feel about myself and my value in this world. I'll try harder to focus on the positive, good things more and less on whatever I might feel disappointed about.

Ty Kira that's nice of you to say and I am glad you think that about me I had felt mad at myself for caring enough to post it but now I see that how tired I was was affecting my mood very negatively. I feel strong enough now to post one again at some point and to just enjoy the act of posting it itself. Sometimes it can feel rejecting when I feel like I'm so often saying sincere, loving things like that I hope everyone is well, having a nice day, sending lots of hugs to everyone, and yet people so rarely say "same to you" to me or anything like that. But I need to just not need that somehow I guess, believe me I am working on it. I'll find a way to be completely self-sustained or die trying!

Ty KM, I really appreciate that feedback a lot. It gives me hope that maybe there's at least 1 or more other members who have felt that way about what I've said but have just chosen not to let me know such priceless information for some reason. I am glad you chose to post and tell me that I believe this world would be several times better and more peaceful if a lot more people made more sincere effort to care a lot more about others. I enjoy your posts as well, and hope you're well.

I think I mentioned before, but in fog it is possible to have a clear-white rainbow called a "fogbow"
