Leap year birthday people? Personally? No, but I know this one local celebrity who's birthday is February 29 and when I was a kid I just thought it was sooooooooo kewl. Haha.

Fun memory to share... hmmm, let's see. Probably a short trip I made with my friends in 2021 (I think), when I went to York, England. I just thought it was the loveliest and most peaceful place. It was also raining at the time (of course, it's England), I love it so much that every time someone asks me what my favorite place to visit is in England, I would always say York. Unfortunately I didn't 100% enjoy it back then because of this crap called depression but I really really would love to come back and appreciate it more.
I hope you can go back there again one day, @puffymilk - & that hopefully, you'll be able to enjoy it properly and thus, able to add to the catalogue, or collection of memories of lovely York, England. Is that short for, Yorkshire (by the bye?) ;)

My dad who passed away at 15 1/2 (61 years old) was a leap year baby.

Thanks for opening @MisterBGone ! I had just decided to open a cafe but you beat me to it. but I bet you haven't dusted!

@Angie @JMG @iloverachel @SillyOldBear @1964dodge @LumberJack @Lane

Please help tag!

I come on SF daily to read the How are you feeling and Cafe posts. It feels like I have to check up on friends. the Cafe is a wonderful place to visit.

I am just excited for my first trip to Italy in a week. I'm not focused on memories at the moment. I'm going with my daughter who is 34 and it will be a great trip.
That's pretty sweet & special memory of your dad, @cymbele ~now stupid question of the day: what happens on a non-leap year, for them? ;D
And Italy, with your grown adult daughter sounds divine! Hopefully, she can do all of the heavy-lifting, should there be any! : )
I also like your daily pattern, of which threads you generally visit, mine for years was very similar! ;^)
. . . & OH- > How VERY SORRY! (to have beaten you to the punch...) ? My bad~*> / & no! How did you know? I don't even own a dust rag. . .

March …… December…… whatevs.

I am overthinking a bit this morning. That usually ends badly.

So- Do you know any leap year birthday people?
-leap year marriages were spotlighted locally. Forever honrymooners? Idk?
- do you like birthday cake? Wedding cake? I am craving sweets.

have a fun memory to share?
Let’s do this!
HahaHa! . . . I noticed that too, shortly there after (the fact) & had just decided to leave it as is: (sort of like my *Sewuel, drink thread, in the game room!). ;)
I don't know what happened, other than, I think I was having too many lighting bolt thoughts collide inside my mind at once whilst typing that. And so got focused maybe on getting the year right instead, as I looked down at the bottom right hand portion of the screen and correct the year, before typing the '23, instead! (Therefore, neglecting 'month!') - but as They/or He (once) said, "April is the cruelest month. . ." :D

@cymbele and @misterBG the cafe is a great place but I bet you haven't dusted!

I have double chocolate brownies
@1Lefty, @IDontWantToDie, @Baywasp, @AvidFan, @FlamingoWrangler, @CrossedSeas

...And I get really uncomfortable leaving anyone out of anything so my invitation is to everyone. 🩵

I'm busy with colours lately, but have been trying to come by SF as much as I can. Many hugs, to all.

My memory is a fun one sort of weird though, from a few years ago now. After de-boarding in a certain country lol I spent 2 weeks locked in a hotel room in due to quarantine for Covid. After being discharged by the military police, or whoever the f--- they were, the feeling of breathing and walkng outside on the street was so fun it was beyond words.
Oh-my? That is an interesting memory, and one definitely unlikely to ever be replicated again seabird! I think I would have found myself turning a bit into Old Boy, if you're familiar with that movie (Korean Version). If not, then maybe it's for the best~ ;)*

Leap year babies… I don’t think I know any personally but I know of at least 2. There’s an older guy I watch on Twitch; he and his wife have a show they stream where they sing and play ukulele together (and sometimes talk about social issues) and it’s very sweet and wholesome. He and his wife both act too, and he was in the recent Avatar the Last Airbender show that just came out. He played Monk Gyatso, which means nothing to me lol. (At least I’m pretty sure he was born on leap day because people were talking about it on Discord, but his birthday is listed as the 28th.
Then there is a band I like called Leapling which was named after the word for Leap Year babies because the singer was born then. I don’t think the band is active anymore, but I still enjoy the music.

My apologies, @dandelion s ~for there wasn't a lot going on upstairs at the moment. Other than: vast emptiness. . . And as you know! I have always been one who is short on words; well, "good-ones,' anyways~!* ;) HA. :D Someone had asked me a few years ago, maybe, if I'd ever opened one of these before... & - it or I was like, trying to (well, first - no, of course not! Why would I? And now we see... for I am terrible at it~ remember @johnDoen, for instance? sp! on name, sorry buddy! :) Anyway, many others specialize in this sort o fthing, InnO is one 'expert,' who comes to mind, just off the top of; but there have been so many others. So, while I have thought about it numerous times since that question being posed: I just really didn't know if they were trying to tell me that I should? Or really more just genuinely interested in a literal interpretation of what they'd said. In other words, as stated or asked (then)? Anywho? I prefer to let my work speak for it self. Like all genius & giant artists. I am an enigma. Or endlessly interesting. The gift that keep son giving! ;D yea right on all of the above/previously/aforementioned, and so on~ in short-> the "title," can be anything you want! : ) War, or peace. You decide..;) no i don't have sugar in my diet, and I'm happy to take a lie detector test if you'd like. For I am a master at defeating them. References available up on request~* ( ; ~~~ }
