Mine's Twin Peaks. Both the original, which was done by my favorite film director (season 1 of 2, anyway~ / he'd gone on to make another movie at that point, and may have only returned for the finale, or thereabouts?)... & then they did a re-boot more recently for Showtime which was AWE-SOME. It would've been even More Awe Some, had disc like 6 out of 8 actually worked in the set (box) I bought/n' got~ from Best Buy -& no, I wasn't going to be buying it again. Each one had like two to three episodes on it. Fortuately, for me, plot is not something I am always so much reliant on to have a good time with a book, or a story (whether it be tv or moive!). :^) post scrtipt; there was also a - well never mind - it doesn't really hafve to do w/this so? You konw..;) :D :) peace out!

My favorite is also Twin Peaks, the original was all I've seen, besides the movie Fire, Walk With Me. I liked the dark, suspenseful, surrealism of the series, and was expecting more of it in the movie, but ........
I may have to check out the Showtime version.
Didn't the original TV director also do the film Blue Velvet? I may have seen another of his movies, I rented a lot of VHS in the 80s

Second favorite is M*A*S*H*, especially the later ones

Yes, he did. And then he left to do maybe Wild At Heart, which one the Palm De` Ore (sp?) at Cannes' that yr. :)

He also did Mulholland Dr. which was a big hit, for some (of his biggest fans, & others, I 'd suppose - it may have resonated w/& connected some, or... idk!) ; )
I have not seen Mash. Nor likely, most of many others' on here! : D
so the movie, or pre-quel ('92~ish) is no thing like the tv series / either version (original or reboot)
the newer ('16, maybe?) is much more in line, except that it is much more modernized & since it's on showtime
less pg-ish in its rating, but far from as dark or hard as some of his other films
that said, I believe they may have shot it like a movie, even though it had so many episdodes
so it kind of "plays," like one, if you know what I mean... : )

Great list
I actually started watching law and order again recently
Law and order special victims unit season 6 I watched like 20 episodes recently
And the toronto season is pretty good too.
Thanks for sharing

I gave away my tv in 2008 so haven't been watching much...

But I've watched some shows that I liked.

recently: Gardening Australia

a long time ago and far away when I was a lot younger there were old time programs on weekends:

re-runs of this weird western show about a couple o detectives who lived on a train sorry can't remember the name lol
Mr Rogers : ) five stars
re-runs of Star Trek
and of course The Adams Family
