Roseanne(1988 to 1997) I have all the dvds and watch them almost every night before bed. The 2018 reboot was ok at first, although I don't like it when tv shows change original storylines around.
I like many of the shows mentioned here and from that time period especially but the reason I like 'Roseanne' the tv show the most was they were one of the first shows IMO that showed realistic family issues that were not popular to show on network tv at the time. I can relate to it much more for that reason even if I didn't go through some of the specific situations they portrayed.
I've heard others bash the show and say how below average they portrayed the family on the show, but I disagree. I think they compared to real life in America were actually above average, in the way that most families are way more dysfunctional than they were. I know my family is at least

Now, I will look it up shortly after this, If I don't forget (& there's no guarantees...) Plus @witty sacrasm always likes to tease me about how hesitant I am (or is it Laxy?) to look things up / use Goggle, etcetera! ( ; _but so anyway^ I will double check that Piccard, is indeed: Sir Patrick Steward(t)! You see, I really don't know the Star Trek Universe all that well (sadly & unfortunately). I wish I did. I remember watching Wraith of Khan as a child. Anyway. . . I know it is similar (or so I'd think?) as or in, their fan-fare, in terms of level of passion & committment, as that to Star Wars, maybe? Here again: another univers I have not; kept-up-with~
However, I can see your complaints for or with the killing off of more minor characters for which you have love, and therefore, major implications & emotional investment in, or with. In particular, or especially if - you feel there is still more story for them to tell. They have not said all they've needed to say. And so forth. I hate it when that happens too. Yes, it is dramatic. Yes it has effect. But can't you think of something else to write?
Now I will have to look-up what Paramount, is? ;D (a streaming device, or so I'd imagine!) . . .

You're missing out. Start w/the last, and go in reverse. That'd be my recommendation (all just depending... on you & your tastes, and level of~ well, whatever!)

lemme see if I can get some of the/their names right, shall we? (ross/rachel/monica... joey? chandler. And bing!) mayeb~* ...wow, I think I've impressed myself. Not that I've seen the key, of ocurse. But it's FEEL-ING, kind of close_ so that is more than I can ask for these days & in this day (& age, mine that is!) Ha : )
