I love how Ridley Scott, director of one of the scariest, most brutal, most transgressive major movies of all time, about penis-monsters that tear people apart before mating with them, pondered the cat for a while and thought “No, better not, don’t want to upset people.”

The Far Side always good for the hoots. One of my favorites.




Every year with the Tourons(tourist morons) of national parks I do believe that image is prophetic. Fools wanting selfies with bear, bison, moose and there seems to be more each year that believe nature is a Disney movie with dancing bunnies and singing deer. LOL

I was at Yellowstone National Park many years ago. There was a herd of bisons way out in the distance. I stopped to take a look. And was astonished when one tourist asked if it was a herd of grizzly bears!

Sounds like here when city folk see cat tails and we tell them those are corn dog sprouting. LOL Some believe it.

lol I have to google every time whenever there’s a pet/animal involved in a movie before I watch it. I did it for A Quiet Place: Day One, because if that cat dies there is no way I’m watching that movie.

I have been told that my sense of humour is dry, and that I keep a neutral face when joking/lying.
I told my then future partner, who unlike me did not grow up in the mountains, that the clear blobs on the bark of the pine trees were as sweet as maple syrup, and could be eaten as candy. He believed me and tried some.
