I'm looking forward to the 4-day weekend of Easter. We just booked a cottage in the countryside of North Yorkshire. I can't believe I'm saying this, it feels like a dream.

I know, it's not the most exotic plan to some, but I have very rarely stayed in the countryside, and never in England. I expect a lot of rest from everyday life for both me and hubbybunny, some hiking in the rain, and some beautiful discoveries. ♡

Tomorrow I am going to the seashore albeit it will be cold in April. We -my friend and I - are going to open a cottage for the season. We have rented an Airbnb cottage because the original cottage that we are opening does not have an indoor shower and no heat. Average temp will be 45 degrees F. But it will be nice to get away. I had hoped to go to NYC this week but the cost was prohibitive. So this will be a nice compromise.
