Who’s done: my children, 2 of my best friends and their children, my sisters boyfriend, my aunt & uncle, elderly neighbour who has kinda become a adopted nana to my children.

Dropping off Gary the squatter goose at his new 'forever home' next weekend.

Exactly how I'm going to get an angry, noisy, bitey bird that's as big as a swan
in my car for an hour and a half long journey is still beyond me. Maybe if I tell him it's for his own good??

An update on Gary: I popped him in a sack with just his head sticking out and my partner drove us to the sanctuary which was an hour and a half away, we got some very bemused looks from other drivers on the road.

He was very well behaved and it was hard to say goodbye as he kept trying to follow us back to the car, but the couple were lovely, he had a nice warm stable to sleep in and a huge field with a big bull, some pigs and a Canadian sp? goose to make friends with.

All in all he's a lucky goose but shockingly we miss his messy, bitey, nosey, noisy highness

Holidays. After Christmas I'm leaving with my family to another country to celebrate a wedding (on New Year's Eve), which means I'm gonna be stuck for about 12 to 15 hours in a car. I think I'm the only living being who likes long road trips, so I can't wait for it 1

Well, a family friend invited me and my mom out for Christmas. We would be going out of town, staying in a motel, going out to eat and doing some shopping. It would be something different instead of the usual routine.
