I'm going on a meditation retreat next week! These are an important piece of my mental health strategy. A retreat a year keeps me out of crisis states.

Too bad you don't live near me. My mom is always trying to give me green beans from her garden because they grow so prolifically. They are good - I don't even cook the things. Wash them off and shove in mouth, chew, repeat, lol. Also I'm about 2 hours away from a place that grows peaches that are competitive against Georgia's. They have a peach festival annually that draws people from other states in the region, so it's a lively festival atmosphere, as opposed to the small town gatherings that are also called festivals.

Cherries have displaced mangoes at the top of my favorite fruits! If I have 2 lbs of cherries in the fridge today, I will have zero by the end of the weekend. Alone.

Yep. My two pounds are in the fridge for right now and it is Friday. But I must admit I put a mango in my smoothie this morning😉

Most grocery store produce sucks nowadays; that’s why I love when my aunt gives me tomatoes or zucchini or strawberries from her garden.
