Matt & Lu's Christmas So Far...

So far we have discovered that Matt does not know ANY Christmas songs apart from Jingle Bells. He doesn’t even know Mariah. He refused to bop to Shakin Stevens and he thought band aid 1984 was “depressing” sigh.

Christmas so far looks like this:
Had to get the first 5000 calories out of the way somehow


Went to places older than basically the whole of America. Except maybe a tree or two.

Apparently this cafe is haunted by the ghost of a highway man but we didn’t care because:

The cake was amaaazing!

We did find a friend though

He looked lonely so we brought him home



Decided to get fully festive with some Xmas sparkles



My nails not Matts for anyone wondering!

We also discovered Matt isn’t really into a mince pie. He also didn’t rave about his first Quality Street experience. Sigh. Americans have had their tastebuds corrupted so badly by Hershey they don’t appreciate good things!!

Today we are Christmas crafting and continuing to eat excessive amounts of food. To be continued...

We've also established that Lu believes every room of the house should be filled with Christmas. I wiped my butt with red and green checkered tissue today.
And this Christmas carol thing? She takes that very seriously. I had no idea. Aren't we trying NOT to listen to Christmas music? No, she's filing up a 3 hour playlist with it. I'm about to be married to Mrs Claus.
Mince pie *was* less than desirable, she's right about that. But I already knew about what it was going to be so it was no surprise. Next we're on to "Christmas cake", which I'm positive is less edible. But we won't be at home so I'm gonna just put it in my pocket and bring it back here. Planning has already taken place for this!
