Matt & Lu's Christmas So Far...

I don't typically celebrate Xmas (I do peripherally as I have a young son)....but I am a bit of an Anglophile, and a traditional Victorian Christmas sounds divine...I am a huge fan of Charles Dickens' writing, and A Christmas Carol is one of my favorites!

So is plum pudding not the culinary masterpiece that Tiny Tim makes it out to be? 😁 I've always been curious about it, and have thought about making it just to see what it's all about..

The photos are amazing, it looks so festive and cosy! I'm with you @Freya on the Hersheys - disgusting stuff and I mean, who doesn't like mince pies?! I don't eat it now but I used to love Christmas pudding with lashings of brandy butter. In fact, my dad used to fry it the day after and then wallop some more brandy butter on it. OMG, it was so good but I've never heard of anyone else doing that.

Anyway, you have your work cut out with Matt by the sounds of it!

A store window, a set of candles from a TOY STORE (so don't go hitting report here), and chocolate brussel sprouts cause apparently this country hates them.
