You're right @Sevven. Harlan Coben is a great author, but I haven't read any of his stuff for ages. I'm looking for something to read so I might have to download some is his recent books onto my kindle.
@Ineluki, @Innocent Forever, thanks for tagging me!!! I'm leaving fo Uni in about 20 minutes.
I don't read a lot of literature but there are some books I love:
"Solange ich atme, hoffe och" ("Lost in the Himalayas"). It's a real story.

"Lord Jim", "Beau Geste", "The Four Fethers". Uh! Must leave right away!!! Huge hugs for everyone!!!
Thanks @Innocent Forever for the invite! I've actually read one of Sophie Kinsella's books called 'Finding Audrey' and I loved it! I actually have a lot of favourite books and authors but the first that do come to mind are Divergent and All the bright places.
I went shopping this morning, and my sister asked me what I want for my birthday (I think I'm gonna get perfume).
And I've been clearing my drawer, sorting out the papers.
Thank you for the invite! I went to visit a friend, was a lovely day but had lots of train delays getting back so got home late, tired and hungry! Fed and rested now
Favourite books - one that has always stuck with me as being particularly moving is Beloved by Toni Morrison. I also love The Bridges of Maddison County - such a beautiful love story. And I always feel a sense of 'ahhh' whenever I see a Thomas the Tank Engine book because my son loved them so much when he was little
You want me to pick a favorite book? I love all of them. I'll have to think on this, with the little bit I can think atm, and see if I can come up with some that I love to reread.
Hi everyone! Thanks @Innocent Forever for the special invitation. @Ineluki love the idea of Jim's Bookstore and Cafe. I love to read and it's hard to name one favorite book or author. Here a few I would recommend and have read again and again!
Young adult favorites: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith and The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
My most recent favorites include: The Help by Kathryn Stockett and Push by Sapphire (also known the title Precious)
The only thing better than a good book is a beautiful coffee AND a good book!
@Acy I recently read Little Bee by Chris Cleave and I love love loved it! I see you've listed another book of his called Gold. Thank you for the recommendation, I will give that a try.
I also absolutely adore the book The Color Purple by Alice Walker
And I almost forgot some of my favorite authors...
Awesome book, I got some others ones too by China Mieville - Perdido Street Station is the next one on my to read list. :p About Kraken: I remember having this awesome dream after reading a couple chapters in this book the same night, can't explain it too much without spoiling though...
Here's an image from the movie made of the book. Really not a fan of the movie because I feel like they took out a lot of the funny parts. This is the protagonist, Yossarian (sometimes I use that name as a pseudonym!):
Sorry, no cake with this one, but an observation. You know how most of the character names in Catch22 are signifiers of what they are like (Major Danby, etc)? I always wondered about the name Yossarian. What does it mean? Well, someone pointed out that if you say it really fast it sounds like you are saying "U.S. Airman"
The Sandman! What a wonderful series of graphic novels! Also spun off into the series Lucifer. I hope that one day Death appears in the show. How cool would that be?

I didn't realize Lucifer was connected! A girl whose taste is consistently not my speed tried to get me to watch it a bunch of times and I thought it was cheesy. Maybe I was just being an anti social dick.
