I didn't get out of bed until almost 2 AM, so that's a new record for me. I've been unusually tired lately, but I know all of this sleeping isn't good for me, because I feel fuzzy and disconnected. I'll look at the clock during the day and just think, "It's still early, I'll just get a few more minutes of sleep" but then minutes turn into hours. I know I have mild sleep apnea but I don't think it would make me feel as tired as I am. The test I took showed that I barely get any deep sleep and I had a long wake after sleep onset, like 3 hours or more. I was prescribed hydroxyzine pamoate which is almost like an antihistamine, so it loses its effectiveness after a while. I can't get anything stronger because my doctor deems it as addicting, and I can't set up an appointment with her since the clinic I go to is basically a respiratory clinic for the time being. I haven't tried meditation because I can't get my mind clear enough, I can't exercise much since I can only go out for essential reasons, I cut out caffeine and still couldn't sleep. I don't have a CPAP because I have to wait until this crisis clears up to get one. Not sure how much it would help because I feel I have other sleeping issues besides just the sleep apnea. I was wondering if anyone has any tips that could help me sleep better. It seems I can get into a normal schedule then it goes back into this again. I'm trying to break out of that cycle once and for all.
