I just hope that wherever they end up, they will get all of the love they have now. I can't help but worry but it's out of my control.

I understand feeling worried about that because you love and care deeply about them, I’d feel the same if I was in the same situation. I hope they’ll all end up in good homes full of lotsa love though, and I’m sure they will

We had considered taking one of them, the smallest one and the one that my mom likes the most. I can't decide because I just love them all. We thought there was a $100 deposit, but you have to pay $100 every month to keep a pet here. We really can't do that but I hope they will all be alright.

Aw, that’s cool that you guys had considered taking one of those kitties, sorry to hear about that extremely wrong and unfair $100 per month deposit to have a pet there, that’s despicable imo. It should be a 1 time only pet deposit, some people are so greedy it just makes me sick. We wouldn’t be able to fork out that kind of cash to keep a pet each month either so I definitely understand about that too.

I hope they’ll all go to good homes, I have a good feeling that they all will

Most places won't even allow pets or you have to pay some high fee. That's another reason why I wish I owned my own place so I could have all the pets I wanted. Maybe some of her relatives will take some of the cats. Two of the cats were given to her by her daughter in law so maybe she will take them back. Oh, and my sister's best friend told her that if things don't work out and she can't get my nephew back, she will take him in. So that's one less thing I have to worry about. Although he would be like 500 miles away then and I wouldn't see him often.

I know, it really sucks that there is that bloody pet restriction bs imo. For any rental buildings for sure, it should be illegal to say no pets. I mean they get the bloody pet deposits ffs, so if the pet does damage or something then that’s what the deposit is for lol.

Ya I feel the same with wishing I could own my own place too so I could have at least 5+ cats, a small dog, snake, iguana, some parrots, fish, bunnies, hamsters and some monkeys too lol :p That’d be a lot of pets I guess (20+ I guess it’d be, lol) but I’d probably pay someone to help me take care of them or something.

I definitely wish those things had happened with those sweet kitties, but hopefully they’ll all go to good homes. Oh wow that’s really awesome about your sis’s friend saying she’d take your nephew in if your sis can’t get him back, I’m so glad that’s one less thing you have to worry about too for sure! Very good news with that. Aw sorry to hear about the 500 miles away thing though, that sucks. Hopefully you’ll be able to still see him more than you think though, wishing the best for you on that of course

I guess that makes sense, they don't want people to have a ton of pets or for the apartments to be damaged. If I ever get my own place, I'm going to be sure I have at least one cat and one dog. I never had any so it would be nice to finally have that. I think the cats will get good homes, they are too good not to. Lol yup for sure, same here. Ya, it was upsetting when they got rid of my sweet dog, I hadn’t been “living” there anymore, was just doing the weekend visit, so it felt a bit sudden when he just “wasn’t there anymore” but it was cos of my baby bro I guess. Ya he was a great companion for sure, loved him a lot and he was always really happy to see me which always felt really good

Aw, I understand about it being a complicated thing with whether to visit those kitties at the shelter cos of it possibly confusing them if they don’t go home with you. Ya I wouldn’t be able to just pick “one” of them either so I definitely understand about that too. What I’d maybe do is go there in some kind of a disguise or something, but I guess that’d be hard to do, plus I would want them to feel comforted by “seeing me” and all of that. Ya, maybe I’d end up just not going because of that, I think it would be too heart-wrenching to just “see” them, but not being able to do anything else and things like that. I’m sorry for that situation though, truly.
