I am grateful for my son. He doesn't live with me, but we just called before he went to bed and yesterday we spent a nice day together. He told me recently: You are my best friend. And: I want you to become 50.000 years old. This was one of the things that stopped my suicide wish.
I'm grateful for having the best boyfriend ever, he's very supportive and caring, helped me overcome my agoraphobia, and now i can even take the subway on my one. Grateful there are people like him in the world
Same here again this evening, after relaxing in my garden a good part of the day, soaking up the sunshine, breathing in the soft, sweet scent of my blossoming lilac bushes, listening to the small birds in the trees singing their hearts out.
I am grateful that after months of despair, I know what it feels like to feel happy, content and at peace. I am fighting to hold on to those feelings so I can experience them more often.
