My pain is different. I had nasal surgery years ago and much of my sinuses were removed. Things that warm and moisturize the air. I've been terrible lately. Nose and throat are so cracked and dry. Head is constantly cold and headaches all the time. Days like today literally every breath is a painful battle. Most reading this have likely never heard of turbinates but you have no idea how important they are.
can they do anything to help? i hope the pain and discomfort improve soon.

i'm sorry about all of your pain @extraterrestrialone . 9 for any period of time is just plain horrible. when i hit 9 or 10 it's only for an hour or 2 i can't imagine long term. i hope your pain doctor gets his shit together and helps you. i sincerely wish that you can lower the pain soon.

First time I've looked at this scale. Its a good one.

My back pain in 5ish. I can do most things although there is some pain but like my bathtub is filthy and I'm not sure how I am going to get it clean.
5 is kind of high i hope you can lower it a bit. for my low back pain i started to use a back brace and it helps a little. just make sure it's a good one or it won't work.

as most people know i live in the 5 or 6 range not counting spikes. this week i've started using a popular plant based otc med. it seems to be helping a lot. i seem to be living in the 4 to 5 range not counting spikes. that means i went down one whole point. i'm still adjusting all pain meds prescription and otc. a few times i've even hit a 3 for a few hours. it's a miracle and i hope it lasts.

there was a time i gave up on relief from pain. that's how i ended up here. but i have found the last year or so that my pain can get better even if omly a little. of course until they fix this mess the cdc and dea made i have to look for other sources ( legal sources ). sometimes it's only a very small improvement but any improvement is a major victory. right now my pain is the best it's been in many months.

if anyone suffers from chronic pain please never give up. don't rely on only your doctors opinion research your condition yourself so you can talk knowledgeably with your doctor. and also research ways to lower your pain. there are many prescription and non-prescriptions that can help . there are also other types of supplements that can help. there are other things like accupuncture and certain exercises. make sure you check with your doctor about any med or routine you want to try. basically never give up.
