• I'm ok with made up words!
• From time to time writers in the writing meetups I'm in will catch a word and insist "it's not a word" in general I must disagree. Once a combination of letters is presented intentionally as a word, it's a word - with the exception of "hashtag" and possibly a few others.
• I make up words all the time. And or create variations. (or comakeup).
• creating new words should be encouraged!!!

Lol yay about making new words being encouraged, sounds great to me! 
Here's one me n my sis came up when we were kids, was never very sure exactly what we meant by it except maybe just another word for "thing"? I think it's funny though anyway :p

There I used it lol, maybe if I use it again it will only be in this thread though cos ppl here prob. already think I'm odd & maybe even annoying enough as it is
I used to play an aquarium game on facebook years ago & it let you pick whatever name you wanted for the fish, had a LOT of fun coming up with names for them that's for sure :p Flippy, Floppy, Flips, Flops, Flubby, Flubs, god there were a lot of them lol. Anyway now for a non-made up word I like.

@extraterrestrialone cool that's a great word too, don't think I've ever used it. I try not to use words that make me come across like I'm trying to sound smarter than I am lol.
