Pain - physical and mental. Why does life have to suck so much?
life as a package doesn't suck. most of us have a decent childhood with some happy memories and as a teen kissing etc. when i was 11 it was my first time smoking, drinking, toking and sex. yes 11 was a good year lol. we all have some good times in our early years. in the middle of our life is a rat race but there are still a lot of good times as well as bad.

then we get old. the pain and mental anguish comes. i have found something out though. i became disabled in my 40s and my pain got worse every year, as well as serious copd, diabetes, nerve pain etc. etc. etc. you know what i mean. but i try to fight the bad things with joy as little as that joy is sometimes. you have so much more than me i actually get a little jealous. you have your church and all of the good you do there, you have your teddy collection, and i think you still work. imagine your worse pain then compare it to one day in our fathers kingdom. in my opinioin just one day in my fathers kingdom is worth all of the pain we have here on earth serving him in many ways. you are very special and we need you. can your doctor jhelp with the pain?

Oh well, it just dawned on me today that my life is officially over once I have a kid. I don't blame the kid but the things I used to do such as travelling will never be the same again. It also doesn't help that I have an unsupportive husband who couldn't care less whether I come out of the house or not.
It saddens me to hear, that you don't have a supportive Husband, not only of (or for) You--but also, well let's hope that just doesn't carry over to the child too! It seems, we can go to the ends of the Earth. To try & pull out all of the stops. And to get, or make - everything: "right." And yet, still, it (as in success) can seem to somehow escape us. How unfortunate in deed. For I know you have sacrificed, and given your all for this. So for some of it, or parts of that equation, to then not quite come together as they most certainly should. It just hurts one's heart, to hear of this. And I only wish, for the best of whatever possible outcome is imaginable. To turn out for, and end up with, winding up in your lap, or shoes then too @clairedelune ~& oh, by the way. . . It's good to see you again! But sorry to learn of the reasons why. Take care, you hear? -mrb.

Some people are so terrible. There was an article posted by a news station on Facebook about a new playground being built that is accessible for children with different types of disabilities. The headline called it an "inclusive playground" and people jumped on the word "inclusive" and were making fun of it and making awful comments. Not only is inclusivity a good thing overall, these people can't even turn off their brain rot enough to let disabled kids have nice things.

Able-ism is a thing. I have a friend who is physically disabled (tardive dystonia). I hear about her struggles and it’s heartbreaking. I can’t help but wonder if the disabled will be the next target of discrimination after trans people. It seems that some people just want to gang up on others who are vulnerable in society. It’s like bullying, but on a social level. I don’t know what pain someone must be carrying around to try and make others feel “less than,” but I am guessing that they feel inferior in some way and picking on whoever they find different gives them a way to avoid that insecurity. I’m sad about this and I’m wondering if it’s okay to punch a bully in the face to protect my friend. Rhetorical question, ofc.

I hear, it is a popular (how much so, I don't know?) topic of conversation in the U. K., both on the political & public level of discourse. They don't want to be wasting funds on them, or something, I guess? Anyway, it's apparently fairly polarizing. And unfortunate, for sure.

I agree with you entirely. I don't cut as much slack with adults since they are old enough to take responsibility for their actions, but to go after any children let alone ones with disabilities is a shit thing to do.

I am just gobsmacked about human greed and got another piece shown when I just looked for airline tickets on a major line to make a trip a couple of states away. I had no idea they now were charging for bags. And it's not a small amount either. I'd be fine with say $10 even though it's ridiculous to begin with but $40 dollars for the first and then $50 for the second. I didn't know there were that many well heeled people (outside of business travelers who can lay the travel charges on their company). So $100 extra dollars just to travel with more than a change or two of casual clothing. Absolute Thievery.
