post your major complaint here

my cat is straining again and he puked… i haven’t recovered yet from last time so i wont be able to bring him back to vet…

this is just too stressful like i dont even know what the fuck the universe wants from me. Why is life just a bottomless pit of suffering

Tough decisions that seem to have equally bad consequences no matter which way you go. Being mentally and physically tired/frustrated over them. And the more time goes on undecided, the worse it gets.

I tell myself, "You know it was purposely made this way, you should know by now you weren't meant to be happy". But then again, I just looked at that smiley face emoji two comments up and I smiled. You got a weird sense of humor universe

I'm a bit frustrated with my shrink as he refused to write a script for my clonazepam. The clonazepam is the reason things have turned around for me for the last several days. I got a script for diazepam, but it's only for 50 pills and it's nowhere near as potent as clonaz.

All I can do is see how I go.

Just got a very expensive doctor bill after insurance that was classified as 'high MDM', even though it seemed like a simple discussion about me going back on depression meds. What the hell is this, has anyone ever heard of this? They have different levels of doctor appts, with different fees depending on what was said/done?! Never had that happen before and I've been going to the same place for a long time.

Medical care in the United States is a joke and seems to get worse by the day. I work, have a significant portion of my paycheck taken away to have insurance just to be faced with this. How are others who don't even have that supposed to get any care? No wonder they don't go to the doctor or say anything. How they treat my sister who is in end stage kidney failure is even worse, blaming her for causing her own problems. It breaks my heart what us and many others have to deal with in this medical circus

Yeah it should be re-named Mediuncaring.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope he gets better. *hug10 My vet told us to mix a teaspoon of pumpkin puree with our cats' food so they find it easier to go to the bathroom.

I think it's really kind of you to care for those cats. You can't do everything so I hope you can be kind to yourself. Always ask for help if you need it.

the reason why i dont ever ask for help because i never once had an experience where i actually received help, even as i child, all i have is myself in solving my own problems, because everybody in my life would either disappear or make me feel like i’m an inconvenience to them. I stopped asking for help because i know i’ll never get one, that’s just life for me.
He’s picky and he can tell if i added something in his food, other than that he’s okay.

When did a mostly-probably-fake-ass story become so real that someone tries to quote that to back up being a fucking monster? This planet. I swear.

Is that a rhetorical question?
Here's one take since I don't know what this is in regards to but it's resonating...my perception is that sometimes people hear something or are exposed to something long enough it can become the "truth' for the individual or en masse (conciousness) regardless.
Even possibly altering the fabricator's reality into believing it is pure truth......

the many times when the world hasn’t been kind to me and i dont even know why, and those many times were more than enough to really consume me and be a bad person, and more situations like these seem to occur, specially in the future and now it makes me wonder perhaps this is what the universe wants me to be. Maybe i am not destined to be good at all.

like the quote
“ Villains are not born, they are made “

But you can't let your past experiences restrict you from ever asking for help. You may not get it if you ask, but you will definitely not get it if you don't ask and nobody knows you are suffering. Sweetie, I asked you to PM me a few times because I wanted to help. You didn't respond and your profile is restricted so I can't message you. This is an example of how you may be stopping anyone from helping you.

p.s. we mix a teaspoon of water to our cats' wet food so they get more water to keep them from getting constipated. Putting an ice cube in a bowl of water can get their attention and make them drink. Also, keeping their water in a different area than their food dish can help, and changing it at least once a day.

Sometimes we put 5 or 6 pieces of kibble in a bowl with a few tablespoons of warm water, mix it up and let it sit for 5 minutes so the water is like "gravy" then give it to them. For some reason they love this!

thanks i do the water thing as well, i am still on the fence whether i should let him have soaked kibbles like cereal and milk (even though i’ve done it twice already) because the vet told me he is no longer allowed to have dry food.
I tried the water fountain but they dgaf about it lol.
He likes to eat grass but idk if that can really help with his digestion, all i do now is add water and psyllium husk/ground flax seeds.

i dont know about the help thing anymore, it’s sort of a traumatizing and humiliating experience for me, that’s no longer an option for me, for now… i have a lot of things to unlearn and relearn.

Up to you. I understand how hard it is.

Do try the ice cube in their water thing. They love to paw at it and always end up drinking for some reason.

The Primary care MD decided I needed to see an endocrinologist and referred me out instead of him prescribing treatment himself even though it's common and nothing beyond his abilities or scope. It's called insurance company driven and controlled medicine. I called 7 specialty offices and clinics today within a 30 mile radius. None of them were accepting appointments prior to 2024, the first being the end of January for a new patient slot. That's 6 MONTHS out to receive any intervention. He had warned me there would probably be a wait period but I had no idea about this kind of timeframe. And aside from that, now financially I will also have to pay towards meeting a very expensive new deductible because of it being a new calendar year. And socialized medicine schedule availability difficulties so to speak without any of the socialized medicine benefit.
It's not only an enigma, it's frightening and dangerous. So I took a January appointment and put myself on a wait list.

Thank you*hugAnd I guess not as far as help assist.. And shameful is as good an adverb as any. He's a good hearted man in many ways but he, like his peers, are apparently hogtied in so many ways. I asked him when he handed me the referral during the appointment if he knew any of the specialists I could go to and suggest one. Like they did in the old days, they knew their fellow practitioners. That's when he said no, and be prepared to wait awhile. End of conversation. I could have imagined it but I think he might have looked a bit embarrassed*dunno*hug
