how wisdom comes to fruition. you live all of your life learning new experiences good and bad. you learn from your mistakes ( hopefully ) and that is how you gain wisdom. imagine what life would be like if we could be born with that wisdom lol

mike
As much as it would be wonderful to be born with that wisdom, i guess it is nice to be able to learn from life. It is part of the adventure. It sucks making mistakes and and going through bad experiences but, i think sometimes despite the negatives, there's still a lot of beauty in it. Even if it is hard to see.

This is genuinely horrifying. It sickens me to my stomach to think that organisations like LGBT+ charities can engage in such hateful anti-trans behaviours. You're supposed to be there to support the mental wellbeing of the whole community. Excluding an entire subset of that community is disgusting, and your organisation should be disbanded.

So yeah, i guess if any of you are looking for decent LGBT+ charities to donate to, don't give to MindOut, they're just arseholes who don't deserve your money.

On the plus side, i did at least discover a charity nobody seemingly had any criticisms for, so shoutout to the Human Dignity Trust for actually being cool and doing good work.

Someone's dog took a shit on the landing and stairs in my building's common area and the fucking nitwit owner decided to leave it as public art 😑

Maintenance (or someone in any event) has since cleaned up the turds, but the carpets will still have to be cleaned.

These are same sort of entitled fucking owners that let their mutts run off leash i.e., Amy Cooper.

And people wonder why I've come to dislike dogs so much. IMG_20231130_070956409.jpg IMG_20231130_070930558.jpg

That's even more disgusting that it took place on carpet for crying out loud. What is wrong with people? It's not the dog's problem, it's being a dog....it's the human's fault for not training the dog, which only takes being a responsible owner and not even much time.....as well as being responsible as a neighbor. I don't mean to offend by putting in my 2 cents after reading this but I'm having strong feelings about thoughtless neighbor behavior at this time myself.

That is a good example of the opposite of don't rub the dog's nose in it, rub the owner's nose in it...

That's so sad and frustrating for an actual charity whose entire purpose is to support the mental health of the LGBTQ+ community. Sounds like there may be a few bad apples there who are influencing the whole organization.

Finally figured out what was wrong with my monitor heater. When my mom ordered the fuel a while back, she told them to put it all in the front tank for my living room area (as i have 2 tanks, one for the front one for the back). So what they decided to do, was split it instead πŸ™ƒ fml

all of the inequalities in the world. it really bugs me when rich people make a large donation to some cause when actually it doesn't cost them anything because they write it off on their taxes. so they actually didn't give of themselves.

i don't complain about paying my fair share but when companies and rich people pay less than the average blue collar worker in taxes. there is something very wrong with this system. it is very easy to fix but the rich would fight it. all you have to do is implement a sales tax on everything. the raw materials to make something and the finished product. everyone pays a very low sales tax, say 3% on everything, no exemptions. so if your average blue collar worker buys a used car for ten grand his sales tax is $300 and if a rich person buys a $200,000 car they pay 6 grand. same with a house. everyone pays their fair share.

I have to disagree with you on this. But I do think there should be reforms for deduction the rich have too many ways to cheat the system with all of their deductions.

Britain is threatening to introduce new immigration law which raises the minimum earnings necessary to apply for a visa to well above the average wage, this even applies to British citizens, so if you want to marry someone from abroad and you aren't a rich toff, then it sucks to be you. Also, due to the gender wage gap this hits women hard. 60% of men wont be able to apply, 75% of women wont.

So basically, love is now restricted to only rich men. (And who do you think made up these rules)

A big FUCK YOU going out to those rich tossers who cant help but ruin it for everybody else.

Tax code in the U. S. will never change. Any type of fair tax(consumption, sale) or flat tax will be fought tooth and nail because it would simplify things and the plutocracy we have would not be able to gouge at a whim.
