(Edit sorry i meant to post this in the petty complaints. Dang anxiety is intense)

My sister just got to take a teen uber for the first time to go to her first day of the driving portion of her driver's ed. My anxiety is crippling right now but I know she will do amazing (it's just other people I don't trust).

While my depression has improved i feel like my anxiety has possibly gotten worse. Chest feels so heavy and uncomfortable like a Boulder is in it and all of my extremities are going ice cold. I think I need to take one of my meds to help calm down. 😅

Why does being trans have to be the way it does?
50% of us off ourselves in the end.
And that's just the people who were confirmed to be trans to whoever was doing the survey that discovered that.
Factor in all the people who were secretly trans, or hadn't realised it yet, and that number probably only rises higher.

I've only been at it for 2 years.
But i've had brothers and sisters in this, that i cared for, die by their own hand.
I've seen others choose a life of silence and repression, cos it just seemed easier to them.
I love another trans woman, who tells me she expected it to get easier after she came out, but it got harder.
And i feel that, in my very soul.
You have to live your whole life fighting just to be seen as you once you accept this is just who you are.

So i reiterate: Why does being trans have to be this way?
Simple answer - it doesn't, but society makes it that way.
And that right there, i think that thought is what breaks people.

I had a realization this morning.

Earlier in my life I had read about people having to choose between medical care and food. This particular situation was in another country (I am from the US). I remember thinking how awful that situation must be and how could their society allow that to happen.

Well, I am 67 years old now and am having to make that choice myself. Granted I have made some mistakes financially in my life and I own that, but my society is allowing this situation to happen.

So, I was sitting here contemplating which food bank to visit next week. Food banks where I live are extremely hit or miss, but that is a major complaint for another thread.

It is terrible how things are going downhill. More and more I claim we don't live in a society but more of a zoo, but I believe the comparison would be insulting to non human animals...

We all have made mistakes in our lives. We should not be left without food or medical care as a result. And medical should be more readily available to all. But no. Without money you are left to suffer and die.

Our city/town has been completely covered in smoke since Saturday because of a massive fire in North West England. I am devastated for the forest and the moors and the wildlife. *blue And for once, it is not likely to rain anytime soon...

Fireworks were involved...
This has been making me heartsick ever since reading about it. The innocent trees, shrubs, birds and animals are part of thte last good things on earth and now they are being killed. I sometimes just hate what humans have done.

I'm so sorry @Auri
