My dog is being a dick. He's decided he doesn't like sleeping on his own downstairs (he's done it for nearly 6 years already without a problem) and has started barking at night. Non stop. For hours on end. My husband won't let him come upstairs so I keep having to sleep on the sofa with the dog as it's the only way to stop him barking. This has been going on for several weeks now and my back can't take another night on that sofa.
I either need a new sofa, a new dog or a new husband...

I can usually still sleep drinking stuff like coffee or energy drinks at night, too. But I'm sure that has nothing to do with corrupting my body with hardcore drugs for about a decade :P

Lol. Sorry, but this made me laugh a bit. My dog sometimes starts barking randomly too at night. He hears random noises like rain, the neighbors, or certain animals roaming in the backyard, and just starts freaking out. He thinks he's protecting us from possible intruders, though, so I find it rather adorable (albeit, also a bit annoying at times). Oh, and he also sees his own reflection sometimes when looking out the window, and starts barking at that, too. Sometimes I wish I could read his mind. It'd probably be the funniest thing in the world.

You need to educate one of them for a few nights, not give in to both. *bleh (not the sofa, I mean the dog and the husband lol)
