Dizzy. Why do baths make me dizzy? The day is bubble bath day (according to Jim's cafe) and @Rockclimbinggirl 's challenge was self care. So I had a bath. And didn't stay in it for long as I know if long I'll be dizzy. When I stood up to shower off quickly the world was blacking out. It passed. But now I'm already dressed and been on here for a few minutes and I've drunk (water, water, water) and I'm still dizzy. Not getting black, but just dizzy. I hate dizziness. And, why the heck do baths make me dizzy?????? And why on earth don't I know how to get it to pass?
Though something positive about dizziness, I was on a plane, over 4 hours, and I wasn't dizzy both ways. Yay!! (usually I get at least a little dizzy on planes).

Any history of motion sickness?

Sinuses really fucking hurt when they're blocked :(

At doctors office for almost 3 hours. Woman behind me humming with headphones on. Other people have sports on full blast. I just want to hear Dr. Phil on the TV while I wait.
Wow 3 hour wait, that's crazy. They can't make us wait more than 20 minutes at the place I go to.

My dad messed with my process of getting to sleep last night. As he was leaving i was half asleep, then he turned off my PS4 even though i was listening to an ASMR video, messed up my curtains so i could see the window, which makes me feel like someone could stare at me sleeping, adjusted a blanket in a way which upset my OCD and eventually forced me to get up to fix it, then took off my glasses and put them most of the way across the desk, where i couldn't see them, and i didn't see where he'd put them, so i had to fumble around for them and put them in a better spot. In the process of finding my glasses, i also knocked a controller down the back of the desk to the floor, which further upset my OCD, providing something my brain could obsess about, thereby also making it harder to sleep.

I did eventually nod off again, but it was way more of a faff than it needed to be. I've developed my process over 8 years of dealing with chronic insomnia, there is a reason it is the way it is, don't mess with it, or you'll just make it harder for me to sleep.
Have you told him not to do that stuff because it messes with your sleep cycle? That's like when my mom turns off the fan or lights or something, and I have to tell her not to do that. I know how annoying it can be.

Urgh, I'm sorry you've got it too. It's hideous isn't it? I feel like I've been punched in the face. My ears hurt when I swallow too.
Sinutab is the only thing that touches it for me but like you I've run out. Our pharmacy opens at 8am and I shall be waiting on their doorstep!

Hope you get some relief soon x

Iโ€™ve mentioned before how my wife had OCD. She was also very particular about how things were arranged when it came to sleep. Once, it got so bad that she spent nearly ten hours trying to get things arranged for a two hour nap. So I have some small idea how tricky that can be and, with every word, I was wincing and whispering emphatically to your dad โ€œitโ€™s okay, leave it!โ€

There are quizzes about "difficult cursive letters". In fact they're incredibly easy if you know cursive. But I guess that's going out of style now, so it makes sense if younger people would have difficulty with it.

That made me think of something like Antiques Roadshow in the future....the person won't know what the words are, but the appraiser will know it's cursive, a language of long ago. They will need historians to study it, and find out it says something dumb like "Yolo fam, it's totally lit" *hysterical
