don't rush it. sooner than you think you'll be an adult, finish school, have a career, get married have children, then grandchildren, then wake up in your 60s wondering where the time went. we all want/wanted to be all grown up at your age. I hope you can learn to appreciate and enjoy your youth while it's still here, we are only young once...mike...

Dropped my fucking phone in the toilet yesterday. Had the thing in the back pocket of my jeans and forgot about it, then went to the bathroom, and as soon as I took my jeans down...*plop*. Right in the toilet bowl. It still worked for a few hours after the fact, so I thought maybe, just maybe I got extremely lucky. But nope. Now, it's totally fucked. Just keeps restarting itself over and over again. I still have an extra phone I can use and I went ahead and transferred my service to that one instead, but unfortunately, it's old as fuck and all kinds of wonky. So now, I'm going to have to buy a new phone after my next check, which is more money that I didn't want to spend. All because I wasn't careful enough.

Damn. Sorry about that. Too bad you didn't mention it sooner cause there are things you can do to minimize the risk of death, even though it works right after. Anyway, it's a common mistake. Perhaps you could look for second hand phones, or refurbished ones that will last longer, but I realize that this is a bit annoying to find.

This is so true and depressing. I heard Guns N Roses on a classic rock station and just about shit myself. I still remember buying their cassettes!!

The one I'm thinking about is cheap enough as it is. It's a smartphone and only $35. So no need for a refurbished one. Besides, I don't really trust refurbished anything.
